The best part of that TAS was seeing MissingNo beat Lavos with a Megalixer.
That ID/Quantity swap seems to come up often in games. I remember an old Terraria glitch where you put items in a trash can, and after you open it again it would swap the item quantity and ID.
It’s always interesting to see how the TAS helps runners find things to break in real time

The world needs a full length ova of Chrono Trigger. 16 min Chrono Trigger doesn't do justice for this phenomenal game. Such a pivotal moment in gaming history.
Full length OVA is an oxymoron. OVAs are usually short and typically are made for promotional purposes or to add extra story to a main series to tie things together

Reminds me of that time my game crashed visiting a Black Omen and fighting the unique aliens there... and all 3 save files were no data. Whatever happened was odd.

after the initalm save and teh new game plus feature i solo'ed Lavos easily cause you can do it if you max out all their abilities which is a lot of 9's to look at and have all teh rainbow armor and weapons.

Ahh yes, correctly. It's a shame it's so rare that people do.
My son's name is Merle and many people read it as "Marley"
Everything was WAY to fast to even look at, as well all these glitches seem to be on the Japanese version, lets see it again with the timing slowed down and on the US version no offense but it's like breaking a beta version and not the final one(not sure why the Japanese versions of games are so broken and the US versions aren't)
Because in a lot of older games the us version wasn’t released till a later point sometimes even a year later so if glitches or bugs came to surface over that time from players or crew they would “patch” it if they could for the next areas release
Just seems like a Game Shark with extra steps.

If you're going to speak softly and mumbling, you should have the music volume match your low voice. It's distracting how they're about the same volume. Not hating, just wishing a good video was even better.
... While interesting to see/read about, this is the kind of thing that makes me REALLY prefer glitchless categories in speed running. With the things shown in this video, you are not speedrunning the GAME you are speedrunning the CODE:D

That's why there's different categories, like any% Glitchless
