Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.

I was first an Insomnia, Dreamcatcher fandom, before I became an Atiny. Becoming an Atiny was easy, since music-wise I was already a fan of their producers' sound.

About Dreamcatcher :
Dreamcatcher was known as a group called "MINX" and it was composed of 5 members :
Jiu, Dami, Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon.
The concept was bubbly (I like bubbly concept).
MINX debuted in 2014 with 'Why Did You Come To My Home?' [MV].
But they rebranded it to "Dreamcatcher" and debuted as a 7 member group :
Jiu (Leader), Yoohyeon, Dami, Handong (She wasn’t a MINX member), Gahyeon (Maknae) (She wasn’t a MINX member), Siyeon and SuA.
Dreamcatcher has been known for their dark concept (I like dark concept too).
Dreamcatcher debuted in 2017 with 'Chase Me' MV.

I love Dreamcatcher. I love their singing, rapping and dancing. Their concept is amazing. Their discography is top-tier. Their storyline/lore is mysterious. Their MVs are awesome.

This is a trilogy coach, SCREAM for me is still the best of all the three parts till to this day, its no wonder you cant remember odd eye, when it comes to sound beat it is the least of the 3, Scream is what makes me fall to Dreamcatcher, the combination of Pop rock metal genre beat and the visuals of high fantasy is what they really excel and is the main reason Dreamcatcher was on my top 3 k pop female group out there, well like i said this is a Trilogy, Scream is the first episode, Boca is the second and ODD EYE is the 3rd and last episode, ill let the other fan explain the deep theory and story behind each they can explain better than me, im just here to enjoy your reactions to them
This is still one of their best trilogies (in my opinion) to date. They just hit so hard!
Every time I watch the mv, I get overwhelmed by my love for this song and the visuals and really, everything. It’s absolute perfection, and I NEED to hear it live someday. I will 100% be there for a deep dive stream
Hey. If you're ever interested in deep diving them, here's a couple pointers:
- Dreamcatcher is one of Kpop's most powerful success stories there is. They are the only girl group who debuted with the Rock genre as their main musical style (est. 2017). Most groups would have only a few rock songs to drop, and some aren't even for studio versions, only for lives. But for them.... It's EVERYTHING. Their rock sound has been influenced by both Western and Japanese rock/metal styles.
- They are a very active group; they're best witnessed live. You just gotta hear it to believe it.
- They are also a very flexible group, because they also have songs outside the rock sphere, and so I think they're a group that has something for everyone to enjoy.

Dreamcatcher is my favorite girl group. They are finally getting the recognition they deserve. I think they have the best vocals out of girl groups.

Dreamcatcher are amazing! They are my top GG! They are one of the best success stories in all of kpop! Since debut they have really grown and climbed from the bottom to international success! They share producers with ATEEZ - It used to be Leez and Ollounder, but since Leez's departure, the rest of Edenary has worked on their last 2 albums. They are so talented, and super underrated still domestically (though that is starting to change). I cannot recommend them enough! All 7 of them are vocal queens! They re-debuted with rock as their primary genre, but their b-sides really show off their versatility - they have b-sides of every genre under the sun! And their live performances are insane! I definitely would love to see you do more of them :)

This is the beginning of the Dystopia Trilogy. The end of 'Scream' goes into the beginning of 'Boca'. 'Odd Eye' is the third part of the trilogy and YES, there IS a Music Video for it. :)

Ahhhh, you discovered the dark angels Capt. these ladies are amazing. Besides our beloved tannies, Dreamcatcher are the only other SK group I follow. They're my absolute fave girl group.
