Strange how a lot of these automobile factory videos are not in the order of assembly. It's as if the person editing doesn't know how a car is made.

People always talk about how unreliable this truck is...that it's a bad purchase... but every car has the potential to be unreliable. I have had my Range Rover for 2 years now and no issues...just keep it regularly maintained. My uncle had his for 13 years before switching to the Velar. No major issues. Older sister has a Discover...beautiful truck- no issues...My little sister has the smaller 2 door Evoque...no issues. We love our trucks and we take care of them.
Im curious. A lot of people say they are unreliable. Even a few car magazine sites even documented their range rovers failed during review. My question is about the electronics. Are they in-house? Why not change supplier?

Michael Opere its has been done but they used a Range rover to get to location...A Land Cruiser has been sent to fetch them.
@@sfiso4114Most drivers want a car,not a laptop on wheels,Land Rover products are unreliable because the company made a huge mistake by installing too much unnecessary software into their cars unlike Toyota who kept it simple,this is why they are one of the most flatbed-ed vehicles on the roads.

@@michaelopere5424 Had a friend a few years ago ask me if I thought buying a Range Rover was a good idea. The car actually had 150k miles on it. I told him anything with that many miles is a parts car. He didn't take my advice. The second week he had it the air bag suspension system failed. The dealer said they would not repair it, that it was not warranted. I Understand that (before he bought it I told him it was a parts car). He ended up putting shock absorbers on it and did away with the air bag system because the system was way too expensive to repair.
Did not see one tech looking at the robot, very impressive.

@@O0000-i5q Range Rover owns Tata or Tata ownes Range Rover???? So it’s a Tata product. Without Tata that brand would be dust and still would be unreliable. After Tata owning them they are performing well in the market and reliably has improved.
Yeah Tata said all Land Rover cars will be made in UK itself. Won't be shift to India. So purely British under Indian ownership. Hope Land Rover will emerge as a independent brand.

lets pan constantly and frame the picture so the viewer never has any idea what is going on! Seriously you need to balance the editing. Panning shots are for intros and setting a scene. NOT for at 17 minute video, jesus.
Range Rovers are a nice machine.... too bad they can't make a reliable wiring harness, electric windows or an engine that doesn't shit itself with-in 6 months.

I think Range Rover has lost its way, looking at this video, there is almost no human activity in the assembly line, its fully automated. Makes me wonder why these vehicles are only as good as their warranties. Engine, wiring , etc.
Why does such a iconic suv company rely on almost 90% robots to build it? It looks like its more of quantity then quality.
After 2 years these vehicles go through so much issues, they should start looking for the problems and start where the vehicles are being manufactured.
Robots do not make mistakes, humans do make mistakes.
I'm not one to debate on what or who mistakes, research on this Brand made vehicles are only good as their warranties, after 2 years issues will occur, one such issue is it's airbag suspension. This brand vehicle is suppose to be superior above it's competitors. For the price they go for, I think it should have more human assemblers than machines, its more of quantity than quality.
@@jrveloria this isn't a true reflection of inside the factory halls, robots are not making these cars, humans are, thousands of them, it just wouldn't look as good showing the real day to day operations.

I'm currently on my third Range Rover Sport. I love them. But in watching this video I'm saddened by the lack of human involvement involved in the build process. Really sad.

It funny a plastic antenna on top of cars. One for a Chrysler is 900 dollars just to replace. Literally a piece of plastic cover on top of the car that sits above the back window. Waste of money. Everything g overpriced. That why I like older vehicles less money and actually reliable.
