Hyukoh are such humble artists. They never aimed to be popular. They just wanted to make music and perform on stages and do what they do best and it just sort of took off. His answers are so humble even the interviewer seems to be at a loss for words. When he said he didn't care about success, the typical response is "what??" Lol the fact that he sees Coachella as just another stage to perform rather than an achievement of some sort. I love them for that.👏👏👏🤘
I love their music and I respect them as artists. and I agree they are genuine. But I think I've seen a video where they were laughing saying " at least we didn't waste our money on plastic surgeries" mocking the whole kpop community. Well, while they have a point there ,they way they were saying it seemed arrogant, like they are the revolution or smthing.
Because the interview question was phrased so typically, Oh Hyuk actually answered "what influences your music" instead of "who/which artists in particular influences your music"😂 So he was basically saying his music comes from everywhere and everyday life occurences. He's not there to promote other bands either because their sound is so different, it would be weird to name some bands that don't even sound like your own. I think when it comes down to interview questions, they should be comfortable enough to rephrase silly questions so that their response is meaningful rather than confusing. The translator also seems to be having a hard time as well😂😂 American interviewers suffering from Hyukoh--they should've done some research beforehand. He didn't even pronounce Hyukoh properly😂 all the members always have to correct everyone. Hyukoh is only great at communication when it comes to music.
Amazing band. Dumb generic questions and the translator put zero effort in. She’d forget halfway and either give up or make it up in the end. hyukoh- no words needed just your music says it all. And kero kero bonito playing in the background 🤩
Oh hyuck is not good at interview but questions are bad also. If it were me, i would have probably not wanted to answer some of those questions. Also interpreter is not good at her job
I enjoy Hyukoh's interviews as they are thoughtful and genuine. I think it was the interpretation issues. The interviewer should have given the questions to be interpreted in advance since they did not appear to have a professional interpreter.
This group brings a different kind of music to the music world which is wonderful to see ...totally different from the Kpop groups....they so humble these guys
Aite... Let me translate properly: (like why is she not translating certain parts and adding things like 'it's such an honor to play at coachella' when that's not even something he said?) 1st response: It's been about five years that we've been playing as a band... And this is the first festival we've performed at outside of Asia... But yea Blackpink - of course, our music is different from them, but we play different music for different people.. 2nd response: Honestly, these days the influences I get... Hm. Like, the influences are so many... way beyond just music. But yeah I almost knew he'd respond like this based on his music. So detached from the material things that many associate with 'success'... My fav new find of the year~ KEEP DOIN YO SHIT HYUKOH YA'LL KILLIN IT
Random Trivia: Blackpink and Hyukoh used to be in the same Agency which is YG. Also, Hyukoh in general are not really in the talkative side. When they were featured in a variety show Infinity Challenge they rarely spoke and the Producers and Cast were even frustrated😂
Well to be more technical they were under Tablo's (epik high) label Highgrnd which was a subsidary of YG and unfortunately when Tablo stepped down as CEO the label dissolved.
lol, being able to pronounce the name of the band you’re interviewing is a good first step, & these questions are super lame. I hope they get American interviewers in the future that actually are into them and do the research it would make it way easier on the band. sorry guys! 💀
They're so awkward I love them hahhhaha. And can we fire the interviewer he's just asking lame questions and doesn't even bother to give reactions and just making them uncomfortable. Overall this interview sucks.
Wkwkwkwk. They are bad at interviews. It's a huge progress that Hyuk and the band are willing to cooperate in this interview. But I love their songs. Actually their songs talk much better than themselves😂😂😂
just watched them in infinite challenge, do interview with the it's kind of hard with talk, but with writing pretty help 😂💕😂💕. No matter what, I love you guys!! 😂💕
Hyukoh may be refreshingly unpolished and a bit awkward during interviews, but their answers are always on topic, thoughtful and sincere. I believe it was the interviewer and interpreter's fault not Hyukoh.
Yes they are 😂😂😂 even no.1 host in korea said that interviewing hyukoh is the hardest interview he ever done 😂😂, but tbh they talk more here than any korean variety show they ever attend
man while Hyukoh is not very talkative they are not that bad at interviews... there are many videos here where they express themselves well; it’s just they had a terrible interpreter who in turns made the interviewer awkward... even Never Young Beach did a better job at interviewing them while speaking in Japanese/Korean 😆

Jane Jung can't agree more!!!!!
Finding success in America as if that's their goal in life, to make music for the Americans lmao. silly question

It’s so funny how the leader is more on point on explaining his idea than the translator 🤣✌🏻
이걸 인터뷰 못한다고 하다니ㅠㅠ 이분들 오혁 예능나온거 봐야돼ㅜㅜ 진짜 말 잘하고 있는건데...ㅜㅜㅠㅠ

They left YG a long time ago their with Dooroodooroo now and they promote everything they do :)
They're so awkward I love them hahhhaha. And can we fire the interviewer he's just asking lame questions and doesn't even bother to give reactions and just making them uncomfortable. Overall this interview sucks.
Oh was like " maan, give another certified interpretator.."
Wkwkwkwk. They are bad at interviews. It's a huge progress that Hyuk and the band are willing to cooperate in this interview. But I love their songs. Actually their songs talk much better than themselves😂😂😂
Well, now we know that the interview dude say he-ah-go correctly😂

Hyukoh💕
They are good at music, however they are bad at interview....
Hyukoh may be refreshingly unpolished and a bit awkward during interviews, but their answers are always on topic, thoughtful and sincere. I believe it was the interviewer and interpreter's fault not Hyukoh.
Hoyoung Jeong they're too shy. They don't talk to much, even in Korea.
He did rlly well compared to kr interviews
Yes they are 😂😂😂 even no.1 host in korea said that interviewing hyukoh is the hardest interview he ever done 😂😂, but tbh they talk more here than any korean variety show they ever attend
to be fair, the interviewer is also absolutely terrible
man while Hyukoh is not very talkative they are not that bad at interviews... there are many videos here where they express themselves well; it’s just they had a terrible interpreter who in turns made the interviewer awkward... even Never Young Beach did a better job at interviewing them while speaking in Japanese/Korean 😆

Hyuk oh probably speaks better English than most of the kpop artists
I can see why jeasuk was frustrated lmaooo

Awkward interview because yes that's what they are UNIQUE IN SO MANY WAYS.
It's pronounced "hyuk-oh", with two syllables.
Americans always trying to take credit and assume they were a part of everything
Hmmmm not sure about the translator... 🤨🤨but ohyuk is not a good talker either 😂😂
