Great tips, but also goes back to your long-standing advice, "Know your tailor!" That has been a key for me over the past year, getting some older shirts and jackets taken in to give that better fit w/o always going shopping for new shirts.

I'm slowly getting my shirt game together, most of my shirts don't fit like that,but some I love so much I will get them tailored to fit,and from now on when i buy a shirt I try it on ,slim fit seems to work for me,or go one size down,,thanks !!you have been a great help.

I’ve had Kk&j and they are on the expensive side for what they do. I picked up a couple cheaper sets off amazon and they have actually outlasted my KK&J..
This information will be useful for me since I mostly wear dress shirts or suits during work.

Light skin, and blond hair. Good to know I should stick with lighter colours. But I will absolutely do some experimenting with strong colours, because they can add so much to an outfit.
Feeling a little left out. I'm a fairly light skin (white dude - Italian-Canadian) with dark hair here, so which should I go with, the recommendation for the "light skin-light hair," or "mid skin-dark hair"? I'm fairly confident with wearing pretty much anything, but what are YOUR recommendations Antonio?
Two of my brothers are the same and look really good in the lighter tones.

I'm italian, light skin, brown hair (not too dark not too light) blue-gray eyes, from your description I think we are on a similar ground. I always wear shirts, I mean actually everyday, and what is important for me is to always change, and I can pull off dark and light shirts, and I also wear stripes and all work good, so I suggest you to simply wear what gives you confidence and what you like.
@@filippomonaco2303 I'm actually dark eyed and haired. Almost black hair and green/brown eyes. But I have found in the past 2 years (this is an old comment) that I can pull off almost anything, provided it fits well and I feel confident in it (things like Peach/Pink/bright orange/red don't do it for me though. Cooler light coulers work well and dark rich warm colours (wine red) work great too.

I regular wear business dress shirts combined with polo sweaters. I work as a nurse so I feel great when I wear my shirts on my free days. Looks and feels great.

Great video Antonio! However, I personally prefer having my shirt fully buttoned (also without a necktie), or with maximum of one un-buttoned button.
Again, this is personal preference, but I almost feel like having more than one buttoned opened up on your shirt is the same as having your shoes not tied... A bit like a double monk straps, where both buckles normally are buckled, one un-buckled buckle gives of a sprezzatura vibe, and both un-buckled looks silly.

Currently in my favorite dress shirt while watching. I'm very light complected with mid/dark brown hair. I've got a glen check lavender shirt with a spread collar and currently being worn with my navy suit with very subtle pin stripes.
I don't know if you'll agree, but I have noticed that with myself, as well as with some of my male friends, they can have lighter skin and get away with black button up short sleeve shirts. The reason I believe is myself and my friends I am referencing have wide shoulders and the general bodybuilder build, without being super bulky. This only really works with short sleeve shirts though.

Antonio, I've worn dress shirts for most of my adult life. I've always worn an undershirt that can be seen but have noticed you never wear one that can (probably a vneck) and advocate in this video to wear such. My issue is, I have a lot of chest hair and have a lite skin complexion, so seeing that under a nice dress shirt seems like a turn off without having a undershirt covering it. What are your thoughts?

But I always fasten the top button and really like the look even without wearing a necktie.
That style in England is called the “Air Tie” and lots of young guys use it.

I really want to ask, how would you hide a scar that is in an obvious place. I have an inch long scar on the outside of my left elbow. Asking because I wear polo shirts and roll my sleeves a lot but hate the scar being public.
Just rock the scar and tell you fought an army of raccoons when people ask
