- Flying into the Salt Lake International Airport gives you a rare bird’s eye view of Salt Lake, but we’re here to give you a unique view of our beautiful city. No US state capital can boast the same kinds of scenic views and backdrops that set the stage of Salt Lake. With the city sitting on the foothills of the iconic Wasatch mountains, and epic sunsets glowing off the Great Salt Lake, its hard to ignore the beauty of the Salt Lake Valley.
Beyond being a gateway to "The Greatest Snow On Earth", home to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, and being the basecamp for more than 6 national parks within driving distance, Salt Lake is a burgeoning urban city complete with top-shelf dining, best-of off-broadway plays and arts, and more. Whether you’re looking to bring your meeting or convention to Salt Lake, or you’re coming for a family ski vacation, our city will surprise you. Come with business or fun in mind, and you’ll leave with plans to return.
There is something very magical about Salt Lake City. I’ve visited there on several occasions and stayed at the Grand Hotel. I love the city, I love the people, and I love the free Trams. Thank you SLC 👍🇺🇸
The city of my dream. The USA is the best country in the world
Don't know how you did this, but what you've created here is truly magical. Thanks.
SLC is so beautiful and underated.
straycat9992 Ik right, and it’s not tiny either😂😂. It’s got 2.6 million people
@@xxdhavenxx2268 Yeah maybe 2.6 million total people in the state but not in SLC dude.
Arturo Millan boi it’s actually got 2.4 but okay buddy. Do you even live there
XxDHavenXx22 Dude I live here and 200k people live in SLC. Stop being an idiot and do your research before you make yourself look even more stupid.
Arturo Millan k that’s just the city. What about the sorrounding subborbs
Now that's how it's done. Beautiful city.
I lived in downtown Salt Lake city for 2 months for work, was suppose to be 8 months.
I LOVED EVERY DAY THERE!!!
I was devastated when I was forced to come back home to Louisiana. Salt Lake City is a FANTASTIC city to live!!! I'd go back to live there IN A MINUTE!!!
Karl Malone
@@HampETX903 + Yea, so what's your point?
@@marvinheemeyer6660 your Karl Malone
@@HampETX903 + Uh no, I'm fairly certain I'm not him, on the account I'm much shorter, whiter and never played basketball...
Just beautifully done. I so want to come and visit!!!
Just needs more Mountain Footage!
Such a beautiful and underrated city in the US ❤️😍
I moved here 11 years ago and I have no regrets whatsoever!
In early 2020 I lived in downtown for 2 months across the street from the restaurant "Current fish & Oyster". Not a day goes by when I wish I could go back & live there. Absolutely fantastic place to live.
Boudreaux from Thibodaux I’m glad to hear you say that. Makes me have a renewed appreciation for the place I live in.
Beautiful City! I want to visit the Temple Square someday.
What a beautiful and clean city.
Yeah you should see Provo Utah
Kudos to the cinematographer! The way you captured SLC is nothing short of majestic.
(As it should be!) Very, very well done.
I lived there in 1997 and it's even more beautiful than I remember
Who shot & edited this video? This is some of the best footage I have ever seen of Salt Lake City. Makes me even more proud to call this place home. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Best video of Salt Lake City.
Wow! Such a beautiful place!
Love my city!!
this makes it look so much bigger than it actually is
Salt lake proper isn't that big, 200K, the burbs make it look bigger, 1.2M.
Beautiful city.
Greets from austria
Gday mate 😄
I would think Austria is even more beautiful, but I guess we all like what we havent seen
@@7saany I'm neutral here. I'm not Austrian and I'm not American but I can tell you Utah (the entire state) is BY FAR more beautiful, impressive and diverse than not only Austria but the entire continent of Europe. Utah alone have 18 of the 30 Koppen Climate Zones (Europe have 18 too) Utah have more biomes and ecosystems than Europe. USA is the most diverse BY FAR with 26 of the 30 Koppen Climate Zones (2nd place country is China with only 18 and 2nd place country or continent is Asia with 22) USA also have more mineral/natural/agricultural resources than any country in the world. USA is also the only country in the world with all 10 Biomes and all 15 ecosystems. Now if you are talking about Salt Lake City vs Vienna the result is a little bit different. I say that they are both beautiful with a ton of history and architecture but Utah have BY FAR a better natural scenery than Vienna (that's the difference maker for me). Plus SLC have a better Quality of Life Index than Vienna. Greetings from Dominican Republic
I love Salt Lake City 😍 it's gorgeous!!!!!
Very good
Wow so nice view
I miss home sometimes 😢☹️🤫
Es muy bonito. He oído mucho de esta Ciudad y he conocido personas que viven alli
Beautiful Salt lake city
Wow! Beautiful.
Lived here my whole life. Always want to go to SLC and walk around. It has a very calming, inviting, and warm atmosphere. During the summer months, you get a nice feel for the city. Delicious BBQ restaurants, City Creek mall, and Abravenal Hall. During the Winter you get Christmas lights strung inside and outsides buildings, Lights on homes. A nice Hot Chocolate while walking through downtown or discovering the past at This Is The Place monument can be the most relaxing and adventurous things to do in Salt lake city.
Park city is also very nice. Beautiful Resort Town. Not many people living their gives it a crowded, yet relaxing feel too the city. During the winter, with hundreds if not thousands of people skiing during the day, and walking through the city at night, gives it such a beautiful atmosphere.
Beautiful!!
I reckon Salt Lake City would have to be one of the most beautiful cities in the whole of the US. I was just browsing Mario Capecchi Drive on Street View and the views of the mountains were just phenomenally spectacular. It reminds me a lot of the city of Adelaide in South Australia as the roads are very wide and straight, and there are tram lines running through the middle of many of them. Salt Lake City is a lot greener however, and there seems to be a lot more two/three-storey housing. Adelaide is very horizontal for a city of its size. Meanwhile, there are some small villages in South Australia that are very much completely at ground level and sets of stairs don't even exist.
Why is that? (Towns and cities being so horizontal in Australia). That’s my question. And I also wanted to say great comment about SLC. 👍🙂
@@miguelidcomm I'm not exactly 100% sure myself, but it may have been more cost-effective to build houses at ground level. I was just looking at the country town of Wudinna and very much every single house in the town is at ground level there. Blocks of land are also more generous in size due to the smaller population, so there is enough room to build houses all at the one level, whereas places like Sydney, you have all the terrace houses where everything's all crammed into much smaller spaces.
My home city SLC
UNDER RATED
I'm so glad I was born here :)
Me too!! Lol 1982 Holy Cross hospital on 100 South & about 1400 East. 🤔😅 By memory... 😅
Lovely city
Lovin'!!! Many thanks!!!
Wow awesome shots! They should be used for the opening shots of a movie.
Great lenses.
beautiful.
Mute this video and play Simple by Canyon City in the background........gorgeous view with soft indie.
I have not been there since I was 18.
Can I use this footage? Is it public domain or to whom can I ask permission? Thank!!
Okeyna lods balik nalang
Could someone tell me what the name of this song is?
How affordable is salt lake city? I am planning on moving there to enlist in the slc fire academy
If you are comparing it to NYC or LA its reasonable. It is pricey compared to the south or midwest. The local wages are pretty bad relative to house prices.
The Beach Boys loved SLC ruclips.net/video/221SBrizxEw/видео.html
How is it to live in a city full of mormons when i am chatolic?
No one cares, religion plays a big part in it's culture, but honestly if you go anywhere but temple square, it'll feel like any other city
Josh Blair aaayt bruv, i got a morsom friend and he is completly Cool and normal, i think everyone hates too much om that religion
@@iii2496 yes I agree, but don't expect much difference from like Boise or Denver there, cause it feels the same
marracash there’s much less Mormons than you think in all of Utah actually.
There’s actually a lot of Catholic Churches here seems like most of the Hispanics
Horrible city . XD .
