You're totally spot on about the dance floor size. Much better to have a dance floor that's a little too small than one one that is huge and even if 90% of the crowd is dancing it still doesn't look full. Makes a big difference. I always tell clients don't make your dance floor too big and if it's a room with just a hard surface and no actual dance floor move the tables in a bit closer and cut it off so the dance area isn't gigantic. Great point.

how do you program your light shows? does your software do it for you and if so does it analyze each specific song? ive been looki g at sound switch that works with serato and supposedly builds a show for each song in your library. have you tried s.s. at all and does yours software do this?

Do you recommend only using extended latin songs to mix? Or can they be regular songs with no extension but it would be harder to mix, i have a gig this Saturday and need advice

@@BayardoRugama what do you think about slam edits, will the transitions feel repetitive or is it a better alternative as a beginner just slamming in the other song with echoing out the first track or any FX to make it sound smoother

Ok, I've been trying to find out how all over RUclips and the internet without any results. How do you link you sound to your lighting?
Only solution (so far) is sound switch. Bit I want to have a seperate laptop control lights like yours because the shows I do I bring other DJs from out of town to play at my parties.

Hey man awesome setup they look great if I can give one small tip for the lights I would split the positions and the effects so you can have them like in a cross and change to a strobe without having them change to a different location because if they change too fast they can cause the spots to kinda break because the motors don't like to be changing that fast with small changes like they do at 16:14 other then that solid setup

How do you keep people away from your gear? Last week I was at an event and someone put a high hill though my ground scrim.
Comes with the territory my man. Ive had my facade knocked into and over at a prom, multiple weddings. People kick over uplighting.
