Thank you for the review, Kent. I just bought the pedestal that comes with this candle and was curious what this candle would be like. Now I’m curious if QVC vs Marshall’s /TJ Maxx is different? Are they returns?? I picked up Wild Poppies from Marshall’s and it’s strong (and kind of peppery to my nose). I’m actually not enjoying it as a a floral/greens candle. I also picked up the glass floral Pink Poppy & Apricot at Marshall’s and I couldn’t smell it during the first burn. The vessel is very pretty, but I’m glad I didn’t get the set.
I have these, one from QVC which came with a pedestal, and one from the Homeworx site, and both are pretty strong. One fills my bedroom and travels down the hall. In my open concept large livi9ng area, I need one in the front of the house, one in the back, but that fills the whole first floor.
I agree about Homeworx in general. They’re too expensive, too unreliable and lack a return policy. BBW is tried and true and you can’t beat the ease of returns and can always exchange for something you know.
I always see the other candle companies labels/jars more attractive than BBW. They have many cartoony or ‘little graphic design‘ effort looks. GC & Kringle have some nice ones. This one is Spring like!
Oh man, now concerned that possibly are seconds when found in Homeworx/Marshalls/TJMaxx - as I did get a few in December and gave as gifts. I do hope you have better luck with the Poppy candle.
Bummer! I got this candle last summer and the performance was a medium in my bedroom. I only burn half because it was close to the end of the season, but I was happy with the scent and throw. Definitely leans more on the fruity than floral. Based on your experience I hope the second half won’t be unscented since it sat for 6+ months.
I’m sooooo frustrated with HW! I could never be a bigger fan of his candles when he brought out HW in 2018. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and enjoyed nearly everything until 2020. Basically I barely buy anything now and it makes me sad! 😢 luckily I have so many of my favorites as backups because Harry hasn’t addressed the wick issue or the strength issue.
I feel your frustration Nikki! I also used to be the biggest fan of HomeWorx. Hauling all the things from QVC back in 2018, buying backups, making videos, taking photos, the whole nine yards. But I've completely given up on the brand now. I don't even bother looking for them in the TJX stores and have no plans to order from the site again. They continue to bury their heads in the sand, but I guess they're still making money, so business as usual. But we all have our own personal choice to support or to not support them anymore. It was fun while it lasted!
Omg I don’t know what you got but mine was amazing. Throw and strength was really good .I bout mine last year when first came out. My nose picks up both tropical floral and tropical fruit. Sorry I don’t get glade 😆. It’s so nice I can really pick up the complexities of it. I 💕Homeworx. Sorry you couldn’t smell it because it’s gooood.

Could it be a fake??? I've always been leery of makeup and skincare from Marshall's and Ross and TJMaxx. . .
