Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
I heard about some insane things in PMD but this is another level...
The patron screen at the end of the video got swapped with the thumbnail for whatever reason, so that's fun! I think it's fine though, to see a list of patron supporters check out the description of the video.
I remember watching someone do this with Pelipper and being like "Woah"
Heck yeah! It's a super cool trick, I'm really excited I found out about it.
Blissey, Roserade, Plusle, and Minun also get the Fast Friend IQ skill. Meaning they can do this trick while stalling in the wall for Kecleon farming. Bring Wide Slash!
Before knowing this trick, I used a different variant: I spent quite a lot of time to permanently increase my HP (1 extra HP is one extra turn), and after that I had my entire team (well, most of the time only the leader and their partner) with move scarfs, and Cresselia using healing moves on the team each time someone got low. With that I managed to ignore quite a few Monster Nests in Zero Isle North.
sounds like fun
Jirachi can also do the Heatran variant of the trick with a Wish Mantle from a locked room on the 15th floor of Zero Isle South.
Oh yeah! Thanks for bringing that up, forgot about Jirachi's item.
My lvl.100 Wingull knows no bounds... Blizzard + Water Pulse + Roost. I usually bring Cresselia and Smeargle both with moonlight + lunar dance, giving me infinite heals and PP restores. Definitely an endgame strat, but it's crazy powerful
Yeah haha, that's pretty much unbeatable
if only i'd known about this when i was a kid struggling with the post game dungeons, lol
Yeah haha, I know that feeling, I was horrible at Explorers of Sky as a kiddo, this would have made my life much easier lol.
subbed because youre an active pmd2 tuber. nice video aswell
Thanks!
Haha, I just finished watching the stream you did with experimenting with it xD
Cool video though , might try it with the Seel line as I think its a pokemon that isnt used much.
Lunatone is probably the best Pokémon to do this with. Rock Throw, Confusion and Earthquake hit just about everything in the game at least neutrally and have 63 PP altogether with the extra 5 each move gets from Multitalent, and the four Pokémon that do resist that combination have the resistance canceled out because the STAB bonus is stronger than the resistance penalty in the Mystery Dungeon games.
So I've been doing a new run of PMD Sky, and I wanted to use Plusle and Minun since I saw they had Fast Friend. I figured that Thunderbolt + Fast Friend would be good for mass recruiting and Kecleon grinding.
... And now, I'm absolutely floored by how powerful Rest is. I knew it was good, but never thought about this combo.
ohh! i know about both of these items and never put it together. that’s awesome!
Explorers of Sky contenr yay :) This looks mega cool
Wow I always wanted to make the mobile scarf practically work
You can do this better with Rest + Dusknoir, you just need 300-400 hp, the adavantage is you can use x ray specs
@@anonymous2858 I mean the whole point of this is that it's infinite and self contained, you don't need to constantly use Max Elixirs to restore Rest along with all of your other moves like Agility on Pelipper. Can still always swap to the specs to warp around from walls to see what's going on, I think the exclusive items just have a lot more utility overall with infinite moves. Mobile Scarf or a ghost type + Rest is still crazy powerful though, and is how I even got through the 0 EXP playthrough I did haha. Thanks for the comment!
@@Mystaldi I did test it out on Zero Isle north and it cleared 75 floors without a single max elixir
You could just literally generate wonder mail for the mobile scarf
Might want to watch the video before commenting lmao
I discovered it in Explorers of Time a few months ago, but it didnt work. I used Blissey. It didnt get its PP back due to hunger.
Where can I recruit Pelipper?
Now this is a cool strategy. I love seeing people completely break games like this
Glad you enjoyed! :D
How did you make that intro?
I comissioned it from James Yevon, an animator that works with the PMD sprites
@@Mystaldi That's pretty neat
