I meeaan, Goku probably would be stronger but that’s a possible big if given that Gohan has the greatest potential of all of them (as stated by Vegeta and others multiple times..though I feel that’s debatable when thinking of Frieza and Broly)

There's a Future Gohan fan manga already out there that follows the story if Gohan actually defeated #17 and #18 instead of dying. Pretty sure YoungJiji is the creator.

Damn gohan dominating perfect cell with only SSJ1 is amazing and I love it
Remember this cell didnt self explode to get a zenkai that means he didnt become super perfect so he is as strong as perfect cell was before gohan went ssj2 in canon
This means future gohan in ssj is probably close in power to canon ssj2 gohan from the cell games or at least super perfect cell
So. To make it clear if he has ssj2 which im sure he does he would be at least almost twice as strong as buu saga ssj2 goku / majin vegeta
This future gohan could potentially beat both of them if he doesn't get overconfident

@daniel gonzalez I know he didn't explode its why I said perfect cell and not super perfect cell plus I'd argue this cell is stronger because of the time difference he's been around longer than main story cell so it's easier to assume this cell is arguably stronger than main timeline super perfect cell and future gohan dominated a perfect cell with only SSJ1 now if this cell were super perfect SSJ2 would most likely be needed
@@Mysticshosh42 main timeline one defo had more zenkai boosts. Even the androids from the main timeline are stronger. This one hasn’t had any real battles. Hasn’t even got instant transmission yet
@@Mysticshosh42 nope this cell is we,aker since the androids he absorbed were we,aker than the canon ones and also during all the years after he absorbed the androids he didn't have any real challlenge so no zenkai boosts at all his powerlevel stayed the same during all those years probably even decreased a little bit

@@ShadeSlayer1911 had they taken in account that otherworld helps saiyans spirits grow more powerful allowing their vessels to excel in real time. Goku has stated this many times.

I believe the new hope series is probably one of if not the best fan db manga. I especially loved the first part and how Krillin's character and power was explored and expanded on. I hope the quality can be maintained through the whole series. Also, your narration and editing prowess provide an animation-like experience to the viewer; for that, we are all thankful!

I get it now. Destiny of Gohan and Cell was always linked whether future version or not. Cell traveled to past only to die at the hands of teen Gohan and since he can't traveled to past in this timeline, future Gohan's resurrection was an absolute point in the timeline. Can't wait to see how the future unfolds.

Heck even in the canon timeline, we thought Cell was gone forever and they bring him back in Superhero, just to be slain by the same saiyan yet again
I know that they're there to be the "woah" factor but it was really stupid of Dende to stay in the radius of Cell knowing that he's the only chance for Earth to have Dragon Balls

I love Gohan's design. His arm being back is great mainly and his scars have consistency and don't change to a scratch like the anime showed sometimes, n he has his father's face.. on that old very nice artstyle, it reminds me of Goku before the Namek saga where he looked surprisingly younger and slimmer than whatever happened to him later

And we all saw the jump from cell saga goku to buu saga Goku in 7 years
Goku was on the otherworld for exactly 31 years training himself alongside piccolo ......
And this cell never became super perfect cell because never got a zenkai
To me its actually outrareous gohan isnt destroying him even worse

I hope that in this series Future Trunks gets to see his Gohan like this again. Additionally I hope they find a way to revive all those who were lost and Future Trunks can truly have a happy ending that he deserves. Dragonball Super did him a bit dirty by sending back to a timeline where he was a duplicate from a fallen timeline. It gave he and Mai a chance at a life of peace, but he lost the world he fought so hard to save. Bring them all back!!

I love how lively these Manga dubs are; almost makes me feel like I'm watching the anime. One thing I find very interesting here is while Future Cell is indeed reasonably powerful but compared to the Cell that invaded the main timeline the Future Cell would likely be unseasoned in his fighting style and is of course unsurprisingly weaker than the other Cell; especially with the Zenkai boost the latter got after self-destructing. Save for the androids he had nothing to challenge nor motivate him to get stronger which made him grow bored and restless. What was there to train for? Nothing. The other Cell had a chance to test himself and would be more interested in getting stronger after destroying Gohan in the past. I'm really liking how both Cell's have been a focus in this New Hope arc as not only is the concept really well done it allows comparisions between how each Cell would act compared to the counterpart under differing circumstances.
Plus the Androids where stronger in the Present timeline. And you had also Piccolo whos had fused with Kami. So imperfect cell had too gather more life force that so he could become stronger than Piccolo.

I think it will be plenty enough. Training in other world must have made him absurdly strong. Any higher forms is overkill if he can surprise Cell this badly in SSJ.

Until he’s completely destroyed , I’m staying cautious. Power doesn’t always equal victory. He hope he keeps he’s head in the game and really read cell here. It could be another fake out just to get he to think he’s about the win then boom catches him slipping last second. Gotta think about that. If I’m wrong call me on it. Gotta be ready if things go south

But for real, you make a good point. And I am not a fan of power equals victory either, so I do expect him to be a clever menace even if Gohan proves to be strong enough to beat him in a fair fight. We have no idea what he may have collected as far as abilities in this timeline either. He's been left to his own devices for some time.
pretty sure cell is just gonna get wiped next chapter. there's no need to drag out this fight. there's clearly bigger and better plotlines in store
@Luis Suazo that doesn't mean he couldn't have learned some new and interesting techniques that allow him to close the gap in power. Lord knows dragon ball needs more creative techniques that actually work, and not just bigger number equals victory. Rip kienzan and taioken.
Another simple victory just because of bigger power level is gonna be boring. At least with krillin beating cell, he still used techniques to overcome his lack of power. It also helped that he was the underdog whom we really wanted yo get a major win. New hope already did so well with that.
But also, why you gotta be so unkind to someone just because they say something you don't agree with in dragon ball? You do realize that power scaling in dragon ball was never that consistent anyway, right? If cell pulls something out of his butt, then so be it. It's more fun than just another complete wipe. We've already seen that countless times in this series. I'm bored of totally one-sided fights.

I truly love this series. I know it won't happen but I wish an anime would be created about this. This is the best fan manga I've seen and in my opinion is better than super manga.
Absolutely love how they embodied the same attitude for Gohan in this. The same "I'm gonna fuck you up and feel no remorse" attitude of SSJ4 Goku

The only fan manga series that's been good thus far. One that actually makes sense and shows how cowardly Gohan became in the timeline we see as the main. Loving this so far. Future Gohan is the Gohan we wanted AND deserved.

I think giving Gohan a new body was so he could have both of his arms back.
Cell never had to release much power at all to kill anything/everyone he deems a "time killer"
And because of that, cell has actually gotten weaker than in the canon timeline. But he can still regenerate like canon so Gohan better erase every *CELL* to ensure victory.
Not weaker more like staying on the same level he never became super perfect cell here
