Final Fantasy X-3 needs to be the fucking prequel to Final Fantasy X. I want to play through Braska's pilgrimage. I could give a fuck about Yuna wanting Zombie SOULS OF THE DEAD Tidus dick OR THE FUCKING IDEA THAT THE BIG STUPID WHALE MONSTER IS COMING BACK TO LIFE.
the only thing is pat forgot that at the VERY END of ffx, after the credits it shows tidus swimming to the top of the surface, which implies him coming back. so yeah.

@@FuryXDMGS Yes I know the story. "OOOOH SHINRA DISCOVERED YOU CAN USE DEAD PEOPLE AS ENERGY WHAT IF WE FOUND OUT HOW TO USE THAT LOL" Listen if Square actually confirmed that fan theory it would be only mildly less narratively psychotic than... everything involving FFX2.5. In order for the FFX = FFVII theory to be true, it would require that everyone, or at least a significant population, to hop on a ship and go to an entirely separate planet. Since the Farplane does not exist on Gaia. That would also require that every single person's biology must change since people and animals are made with Pyreflies on Spira while Pyreflies do not exist on Gaia. Speaking of Gaia there's no such thing as a Lifestream on Spira nor is Spira depicted as having a will of its own as Gaia does. Also this would mean that when these Spiraians got to Gaia it would require that everyone destroy their own technology and live out their lives as a nomadic race the way the Cetra are spoken of in legend. Which is completely ridiculous as a concept. Unless Spira is the future and FF7 is the past but that still would make the 2 incompatible since you'd have to explain why the afterlife works completely different in the 2 settings.
There's something EXTRA gross and upsetting to me about taking a story of loss and grief and coping and then just undermining the whole point of that for more Japanese money
Man, the FF X-2 has such a fuckin awesome themes in every secondary mission: Wakka stuggling about being a father, Kimari trying to reunite his people, FUCKIN RELIGION vs HUMANISM AND HOW THEY BOTH TEND TO SEPARATE PEOPLE MORE THAN UNITE THEM... AND THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE FUCKIN GAME IS YUNA STILL WANTING TIDUS' DICK. That relationship was AWFUL they have absolutely no chemistry at ALL, Rikku x Tidus would had been SO much better (in fact, I think that Tidus was going to initially be a secondary character while the main character would be a created one for the sake of the online mode it was going to have, and that created character would be the one that goes with Yuna), but at least it was secondary to the story, being the main focus the fight to save the world. FF X-2 is the other way around, being the end of the world secondary (SOMEHOW) and the romance the main focus. Man I love that game for what I wasn't supposed to love it... and that's why I am angry about it.
The tag line for that game must be:
"The dramatic retelling you never wanted."
"Tidus blows up"
10/10 Best intro
Also, that's the loudest I ever heard pat get.
Words cannot describe the rage this book and audio drama make me feel.
baylaust I'm super happy this shit exists, it's hilarious

Nobody:
FFX 10-2.5 writer: *Tidus gets blown up by a bomb, his arms and legs and torso pieces splatter everywhere*
This is way funnier if you imagine as getting gibed in Half Life 2

I never knew I wanted to play through Jecht's recovery from alcoholism this badly.
How could someone write such a story and not think "man this sucks"

timeforce80 that was added into the HD remix. It was not into the original FFX
timeforce80 i thought that meant he was popping up in his own world? like zenarkand

It's similar to a majority of CN's entertainment decisions. >.>
I think they stole this plot-line from a 15 year old FFX HD fanfiction writer.
Someone NEEDS TO animate this, ESPECIALLY tidus blowing up, it'd be FUCKING GOLD

I want to hear Pat tell why he didn't like ff 12
Tidus didnt die, he never existed he was a dream. I know dumb but that's ff.
Yeah 12 was pretty good. I personally though 13 and 13-2 were decent. 13-2s gameplay was just so much better than 13s
I want to hear them talk about FFX Will
Dude, FFX is my favorite game ever, and I even like 10-2, but even I think 10-2.5 is garbage.
I would buy it
Don't worry Pat, I won't stab you. But the last good FF game was Tactics.
OG Tactics, bruh. (War of the Lions was a solid remake as well.)
If he said Advance 1 would you still stab them?
Lord Dread Raven
No! That game is hella good. Is the best one of the two.
I will admit, I did enjoy A2 a bit. Not as much as the other tactics games. But I tend to have odd tastes so I don't know.
Lord Dread Raven How come you enjoy those retarded auctions more than the street fights the clans had to do for territory on A1?
I'm still not sure if this is a lie. STILL.
