I was on that particular plane last month from PVD to VRB, Most likely the nose cone was replaced from a bird strike and the replacement part is any color you want so long as it is white. We have been commuting to VRB for 40 years. Before Breeze we had to go to MCO or PBI with a long drive and hassle at both. Such a treat to be able to fly in direct and get left off the plane almost at our doorstep. Breeze is a wonderful airline and I love the A220. As an aviation nut I enjoy your videos, especially the ones at VRB with you and your dad. Thank you.
We all must emulate Peter...yes, the window shades --and our sprits too--- should be kept in 'up' position. Groovy video, with not only stunning Manhattan views but also the exchange between the pilots and the ATC. It is so odd that, when on international routes, (e. g. United and Air India) cabin crew members insist that the windows should be shut, except during takeoff and landing and miss the glorious views. Another brilliant video by Peter explaining the intricacies of aviation !
Every episode is unique Peter, and this one you managed to capture the thrills and spills of departure. I really look forward to each video you create. This format you've created is genius! grazie buddy! buon natale!!!
Very nice video. Never heard of Bermuda Air until today. Also 2:22, that plane is really going to make it from Westchester all the way to Kuwait City in one shot? I am sure it will probably stop somewhere along the way.
@@PeterMasella Wow. I did look up that plane in FlightAware and while I couldn't find HPN to KWI, I saw it had a flight from EWR-AZI, which is very long. That plane also had other very long flights. 11 hours on a very small plane like that. I hope the bed is very comfortable.
I hang out at the lounge every chance I get. Even if I don't have a scheduled flight, I come to the lounge just to watch the planes and listen to LiveATC for HPN
What a beautiful view out the window! Beautiful aircraft! I'm heading down to PBI mid January. Leaving from ROC. Just got notice that the middle of January here is going to be bitterly cold 🥶. So happy to get out of here. Flying Delta A320/A321. Love those planes. Love the moving map. I have that on all the way.
I'm gonna really miss being able to go out of HPN (+ the observation deck, and recent ability to get up close at the gate) when I move to Denver in the summer. 😢
I'll be flying out of h.pn westchester, in February to Florida every time I fly, I usually video my flights, but we always hit clouds before we turn Also, what radio do you use to pick up the air traffic
What a great positive message to Just be happy with the view out there window. Keep those Shades up!!
Love it!
I learned to FLY @HPN back in the 70's at Westair. HPN is nothing like it was back then. 🛩🛩🛩🛩🛩
It has changed so much!

the Horror os sitting in the middle seat and the window person refuses to pull the shade up!
That is unacceptable!

Phenomenal video. I'm happy HPN is getting the recognition it deserves. Subbed!
Thanks! Welcome aboard! More HPN to come!

Thanks for watching as always! The flight plan for that flight said HPN to KWI with no stops!

Have a great trip, Lori!
i was 5 when we first went to White Plains from Mt Vernon, I was very disappointed when there were no white planes
ha!
Great video!
Thanks so much!

Oh no!
what was that sound when the plane started rolling?
That's the engine sound of an A220. It's strange!

i use liveATC.net
Do They have Gift Shops at Vero Beach Airport????
No. There is a restaurant pre-security and vending machines post security.
LOL, coincidentally, you took flight 914 out of an airport in a 914 area code. 😂
I think they planned that flight number that way!
Much like AAL 1776 operates between PHL & BOS
@@PeterMasella 😂lol
Thank you for not talking during takeoff.
I'm glad you enjoyed the flight!
