Nice big Mansion. Bathrooms are big. And Leah keeps disappearing. Enjoying watching you both. Even a fog visiter. Great explore. Thank you Alec. Stay safe.
6:02 the Belfast sink is missing, maybe salvaged they're not light things to carry off. Guess same with the handbasin 16:26 although it may of fallen off wall then salvaged. The lead S' trap is still there with a kink in it wc is half way through floor. (old plumbing is facinating to me). 18:05 The wc has a secondary vent just after the outlet/brass collar (aka thimble). Cistern possible enamelled steel-hard to tell. 18:21 Great close up of plunger style bath waste lift and turn. chunky taps possible 1"threads with brass nut & liners for lead- nowadays standard ones are 3/4"BSP.
Has anyone else noticed all the different stonework, as it has not all been built at the same time.? Some parts are much older than others! It has certainly been an upperclass house with servants quarters in the top floor, and many of the fixtures, like baths etc. are all old fashioned but made of good quality material too! It must gave been some place when it was lived in, with many servants needed to ensure that it was spick and span! A part of history, which will soon be lost. Thankyou so much for showing it to us, and well done for not falling through the floors. .....................old Tich.
I liked the big empty room upstairs because the fire-place has a place to put a kettle each side of the fire so in the winter you could be so cosy up there with a fire going & making cups of tea. Looking at the view out of the window observing the fog, rain & snow.
Thank you Alec. A wonderful explore. Fabulous Scottish stone. What a great place it must have been when it was being lived in. Sad to see it deteriorating. The sewing machine would have been great when new. There was the ubiquitous country stove too. Some of those sketchy floors looked like an obstacle course. When you were calling for Leah I was thinking “Where are you, hen? Lost?!” So many rooms. The bed head was great, as was that chaise lounge. The way the leather chesterfield shone it looked very new! Thanks for taking us with you.
Wow Exciting like a maze it just kept going. As per usual you and your your crew are adorable like little kids stopping and looking at all the cute little critters along the way!!! Thanks for filming this stuff , before whoever owns it lets is fall apart. Blessings for you All!

At 14:22 did you all notice the ceiling lamp swinging !? Way crazy for sure a spirit there. I know your not paranormal explores but still it was there. And a very spooky house. Great video Alex!
That was one heck of a mansion! Too many stairs for me,! Loved his wok hat he found , that was cute! This was just one humongous place! Ty for the tour Alec, loved it! Tc and stay safe.
new to your channel thanks for showing us around as I can someplace where the family lived throughout Scotland not to say they lived in any places you explored yet but still good to see some of the places.
Liked the way you all were quiet as you went about. Adds to the atmosphere. That photo of the 3 of you was fab. I’ve never seen a slow worm here in the UK, it had a face😝.
Absolutely stunning... love the cast iron baths 👌 Andrew on his best behaviour for a change lol. I replied to you with my Facebook btw... hopefully get out with you at some point soon! Just a pity the damp has caused so much decay, stunning property
Lovely place loved all the exposed brick, was someone attempting to renovate at one time and stopped. Not that far gone and can be saved, the headboards were lovely especially the one with stain glass inserts
In America, entering and exploring abandoned buildings, regardless of how deserted or forgotten they look, are still considered trespassing if done without the owner’s permission.
I know where you went as another explorer went there too. That was pretty funny him putting that wok on his head. A million comedians out of work...lolThanks Alec
Whew! That was exhausting. Thank you for posting a great video to definitely distract me from the asinine nonsense going on in the U.S. I actually forgot it while worrying about getting over that fence!
great wee vid that nice settee was nice if am not mistaken it looks like a chesterfield and worth a hell of a lot of money it looked in pristine condition am amazed nobody has snaffled it lol😎😃👍

Wow I’m so happy to have found the coco Chanel home. Earl of Westminster was her lover she spent six years with him. I’ve found pictures of this place in its former glory when coco Chanel fitted it out it was so glamorous. Coco Chanel was an avid salmon fisher woman.
This must have been stunning in its day.Beautiful scenery out the windows, sad to see these places just left to rot away. Thanks for exploring and sharing.👍👍
How the other half live, or used to live anyway! It must've been some place in its day. Even rich people would struggle to keep a big house like that. That old boiler must be really old, it looks awesome. Great explore again Alec.

What a beauty it is, wish they would restore it. I thought you would get lost, so many rooms, nooks, and crannies.
It has good bones. Clean out the trash. Sell some antiques and find someone with deep pockets. Could be a fabulous Bed and Breakfast.
Lovely house, we were watching the fireplaces 😊 Awww you had your pretty friend along again and a new guy?

Wow look at all the beautiful furniture left behind, some antique chairs. They could give away to people who needed furniture chairs .
That room with the arches and the chaise 😍😭😍
This old house has been so grand. Pity it is left like this. It deserves restoration to a great Scottish getaway location.

it looks like the mansion was built on top of buildings of a past era, dating hundreds of years ago.
Great vid canny believe the amount of stuff thts aw been left
I wonder if someone stole the deep skirting as it was missing.
The house is wonderful.It’s massive.
I am so totally lost! How many rooms, fireplaces, staircases? It just goes on and on! How old is it? Who owned it? So many questions!
My thoughts exactly!
No answers!
wow this place is old and so cool thank you for sharing
But why was it just left? Why is it not up for sale?
I would love to see historical photos before it fell to ruin.

The one you saw is death already. Sad.
The sewing machine was there when you visited last year .
Omg what a set of stairs good find 😎 hello from Kate
Very pretty place sad no one lives there
Once the roof is leaking it starts to rot ceilings and the floors are next. It appears to have been used as a school at one time.
Hotter than chilli,
The homes are old ,but the beauty is the Scottish Lass ,
Awesome video 👌🏻👍🏼
Thanks

I really love this place.
I hope you go back and explore the outbuildings
There used to be loads of abandoned cottages up on the moors in Morayshire in 70s but most are now holiday lets for the well off.
Who owns this property? Who does one contact to find out or to restore and purchase these houses?
Any history of the mansion.....date build, family history .....why it was abandon ....seems it could be saved and resorted if someone with money cared to perverse the past
Preserve the past?
Hi Alec, what was the slate for on that wood burner? Very funny moments! I didn't know Popeye sailed to Scotland😉 lol
Wow that's abandoned? Why would anyone want to leave that place. Yo bad nice place and it's going to waste.
National trust should snatch this place up
Quick question, why is there a pile of dirt coming out of the chimneys in the houses you explore? Is the mortar holding the bricks and stone deteriorating or is it something else?
Yes I remember this and nice to see no graffiti nice to see it again 🤙😎🏴
Would be nice to fix place up
A grass snake 😁 I learn something new most days, the house on outside looks beautiful but inside left
No one can afford to live in those old piles would cost 29 quid an hour to heat the place
NEVER ! £ 31 at least ! That old fire range would make a fortune if taken out whole and shotblasted , a lot of these big old places were built as private schools , she’s some place ok !

There certainly is, very famous people lived here. That bathroom contains the most famous bidet in Scotland.
