*I think it's also a good idea to run the enging for a minut after putting in new oil and the checking the level a second time, check for leaks and if none your hired.*
@@NextLevelAutoDiagnostics Yep. This is the 3rd gen EU facelift with newer diesel engine 2.2 i-Dtec (pre-facelift 07-09 2.2 i-Cdti). I have one just like in the video (AT Exe Adv)
You should have mentioned that the engine and so the oil should be warm but not hot before draining, This will thin the oil and so it will flow better.
Its a euro 2.2L engine not the U.S model. You should change title to euro crv 2.2L oil change. Our filters are standard screw on here in the U.S and are located on the bottom
Useless video. Doesn’t explain exactly where the jack points are. Nothing about the size of the drain plug. Yet they give useless information about counting the sides and measuring the diameter of oil filter. I stopped at the 2:00 min mark.
Great video and a big THANKS!! exactly what I was looking for. Covers specifications of each tool required for the job 👍
Thx for sharing.
Above will work for EU Honda Accord 2.2D also (VIII), same oil and filter arrangement, synthetic 0W-30 oil, and 5.5L for change.
10 minute guide, dude had the whole day turn to night on him
Lol 😂😂😂😂
5w 30 works just fine.. It's what I use along with what my local Honda dealer uses.. As long as it's C3 fully synthetic spec it will be ok..
Yes 5w30 would be ok but It should be C2 oil mate, not C3.
It's interesting to see cars in many markets outside of the US have the oil filter on the top.

Thank you, but can you add torque specs for filter and drain plug.
What year CR-V is this? I've never seen one with a cartridge style one.
2010-2012
@@pallikorva11 Interesting. I didn't know the UK version was so different.

Clear instructions
Thank you

Why does my manual recommend a Castrol brand?
NO mention of torque settings for plug or filter.
Did he just mixed Shell with Elf?
??? super mix
Good video, but there is no way you can change the oil in the car in ten minutes.
wrong oil. 0w30 fully syntethic honda oil should only be used
RTFM
Do power steering fluid next
Wow got very dark in 10 mins
😂😂😂😂

It's a oil change for a 2.2 i-dtec 2010. Are the 2.2 i-dtec 2010s different in the US?
Get that old, dirty oil filter out of the way first! Then install new o rings. Don't work around that old, dirty oil !

hi i have better one than this car jack ,if you intereted in electric jack ,please reply me .

Well, the point where he lifts the car looks already bent, but it works. So we know it can be done that way. I would not do it that way.
You should change the name of the video. This is a European vehicle.
It’s just that it’s a diesel. Not a petrol.
Why ? America is not the center of the world ... you should assume video's are not
centered around you own location .
@@WyreForestBiker Well said. The title couldn't be clearer too.
