His voice is great for relaxation. Some great ASMR. RIP Scott, you were a genius :)
One of the greatest singer/songwriter -poet of our times....unique, so individual, ...what poets did he read??? so much I personally I would like to know more. Sadly missed... no more Scott Walker albums to look forward to.. but,I have all the albums. More out-takes please record companies !!!
"I feel once again in some kind of a groove" at the end. Oh man. Good stuff.
Thanks for this. A good interviewer and a good interview. Compare Scott then and now and in some respects he sounds like a different person.
Will love u always Scott rip Arlene xxx 👨👩👦👦😰
Wow - I knew he had some lean years in the 70s and 80s, but it sounds like he was really living hand-to-mouth a lot of the time. Appalling really, considering how many records he sold during the 60s.
thanks so much, always love Scott, Helen Carroll

He sounds so sad. :c
I think he felt very compromised up until Drift
I think more tired than exhausted .
Thanks for watching
Incredible! Thank you so much for posting this. What a rare gem.
Great interview
RIP
I think he'd be okay with me laughing.
He sounds very tired. It must be hard for him to explain himself.

This interview was conducted at midnight.Scott was an hour late for this radio show which made Alan Bangs furious. I found lots of his qestions passive aggressive.
@vestiphobe I agree with your estimation. Scott always wanted to be recognized as a serious artist and composer and that is his legacy. I never understood why he hated interviews so much.

Those last albums from ‘95 onwards are so incredible. Climate of Hunter was his line in the sand after all that happened after the commercial failure of “Scott 4” and his artistic “rebirth” of “Nite Flights after years of selling out. Climate of Hunter is really “Scott 5”, once again at the peak of his powers. That he went even further out is so remarkable. The man was an artist - in the true sense of the word. Very inspirational.
@vestiphobe
There is a myth around Scott 4 , I personally love it myself. Scott 3 is amazing - the classic Scott Walker album. It’s also nice to know that someone else besides me loves ‘Till the band comes in - his most underrated LP.
Climate of Hunter is very short, but a little goes a long way and it is my favorite SW album, probably because it was the first album of his that I heard. What do you think about his last album of songs - Soused
After watching the documentary 30 century man, the outro music was so similar, to the last Bowie album before he died in 2016.
Yet Bowie did not acknowledge it. Somewhat plagiaristic.
Bowie was influenced by Scott Walker, as he admitted it in the documentary, made in 2006.
Bowie had a habit, of stealing avant-garde artists. Yet he lived with the originality tag.
Thanks for the info.
Does anyone know who the interviewer is here?
Alan bangs according to christina
Imagine if Scott had been drafted into the Vietnam War.
dont want to even think about it!!!! he would have died very early on!
He was a British citizen from 1970; so would that have happened?
Appallingly pretentious interviewer who doesn’t connect with Scott at all
