Awesome! Walleye jigging is starting here in Northern Ohio. Hair jigs work great for cold water. I'm thinking about getting to tying my own jigs plus making bucktails. Any suggestion on a decent jig tying vise? What model is your vise? Thanks.

Ive got a peak rotary. Runs like 220$ but ive put this thing through alot over the last 2-3 years and it is still in great shape. Rotary vises are more money but its 100% worth it.

What is the white material you are wrapping in the head area?

The Fair Flies 5D brush from Orvis is the main part of the jig. Is that what you mean?
