Freight riders do lose their life sometimes and this causes significant expense to the RR while tracks are shut down during the investigation. I believe that's an important reason they eject riders when found.

I am a retired AT&SF railway cop, you picked the very worst place. Only a couple of years ago that was the scene of some of the biggest TOFC looting that the railways have ever seen. There are now CCTV cameras in place and other counter measures. You were most likely spotted when you first arrived at that location. I was brought back out of retirement to help set some of the systems up. Wow, not really a good place to plan your hop. To take this a step further and I should not be telling you this, there are also ground motion detectors that were installed. They are set to not detect engines and car movement, but they do detect human traffic via specialized weight and body heat technology. When I first viewed your video I only watched a small portion. When I viewed it again I seen that a drone was used. They knew you were there all the time, your lucky they let you go with a mere warning. Just so you know due to recent cargo theft , some locations where people train hop are now federal jurisdictions. This means you could face federal time. Things are changing all the time.

One trip I just did not feel like hiking out. I thought about jumping on a train that I never did do. Who knows what would have happened. LOL 🤣
