Pretty neat! I like seeing old Simplex panels tied into newer ones. The elementary (now K-8) school I went to for kindergarten was like that at one time; in 1998 they tied a Simplex 4004 system into their original 4208 panel from 1974 (a 4-zone 24-VDC system) for added-on duct detectors, and then around the mid-2000s the 4004 panel was replaced with a Simplex 4010. Generally the 4010 would be used for the duct detectors, signal coding (slow March Time) and main system functions, with the old 4208 basically acting as a slave panel to the newer one for the existing pull stations, heat sensors and one old ionization detector. But in early 2015 the Simplex 4208 panel began failing (it even went off at 4 AM on one occasion) so they gutted it and just wired everything into the Simplex 4010, replaced the old battery cabinet with a couple of EST booster power supply panels, and all the alarm signals (mostly old Simplex 4051+4050-80 horn/lights) got replaced with System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance horn/strobes (which led me to initially believe the 4010 was also replaced with a Notifier panel of some kind, like my college uses.)
