This could be beneficial even in the normal game. Maybe it wouldn't be the same loot chance as solo, but if each person in duo had 75% the loot chance then you'd see more people teaming up instead of everyone doing solo Admiral etc. It would also allow them to implement a pity system (which is on the roadmap) without risking that your pity gets wasted on a drop that goes to someone else.
I'm a returning player from the 2D era (started in 2012, not continuous, stuggling with a druid for very long time, it was 1000x worse than now, then created new character MO and tased game with real class/profession and dropped it once alt buff was gone), and I must say that this event with limits and solo/group play is much better than anything I've seen before. The only downside is that the event forces you to grind intensively over few days. It was great opportunity to start playing on a new server (not that old [polish] server stacked with 140lvls which would make my grind for drifs very miserable experience) and skip annoying 40 -> 60 leveling. I only "regret" that I missed previous events and only could use the final one. And the limit is a good idea, but the format of the events should be reworked. Limit should be with server + account-wide (rather than just character-specific ones, so that people don’t constantly level up new characters to exploit newformat) and event portals should be active for at least several weeks, ideally until the next event (especially if it includes opporutnites for both solo/duo and full parties players/classes) However imo, players should be forced to participate in the event ASAP, especially if rewards affects the economy, etc. To do so weekly exp, psychoexp and gold rewards should be lowered each week. Additionally, for example for this event, after one week, the drop rate for sets could be significantly reduced. After two weeks, sets and legendary items might stop dropping entirely. After the third week, even synergistics (not sure how they are called in your version) wouldn't drop.
Yeah they've done a lot to improve the early game, like synergetics, easy mode dungeons, and honestly I think dailies/weeklies are probably good for levelling even if I dislike the system. And of course events have always been the best way to level quickly, even with the kill count limit. The issue is more with the late game design.
Bro, WM devs are just delusional i guess. Either they don't see what players speak about on discord or they just don't know how game, inflation etc works. It's just sad because I like the game, but it has a lot of stupid ideas that can be solved so easly and with low effort
It's really sad, the game was so unique and interesting to start, and they do seem to have some genuinely good ideas (easy mode dungeons, knight rebalance at the time, making drifs consume capacity based on their level rather than their size), but lately everything they've done seems to fly in the face of the original ethos of the game.
@@fixedranks Exactly, we can't forget about things that should be changed long time ago like drop system or balancing classes, there should be team in WM that balances everything at least once a month. They got engineers that have to do it but they are mostly vd's so it is what it is :DDD
insane vid marcus, watched the whole thing and I agree with you on almost everything.
rel
Damn...why i clicked on ur vids 1st time, now they always popin up and i enjoy them so...GO MARCUS GO MARCUS XD
I still vote for non shared loot table, so that the op dps would other classes without losing drops. Win win for both parties. Only during events

In conclusion interesting game destroyed by incompetent devs, its crazy that a game so tragically managed still has a player base

i cant imagine choosing this crap over literally any other game
You're too young
nothing Has changed
Nie szkoda czasu?
Probably, but might as well have fun talking during the event. ;)
