    Thanks for this informative tutorial. I've been following along and everything works perfectly, except for the part at 26:26 mark. My horizontal slicer is taking up all the visual space when one value is selected, unlike what happens in your video. Any suggestions on how to fix that please? Thanks again for the helpful tutorial.

    Amazing tutorial, your abilities and attention to details are unmatched.
    Your ability to bridge the gap between nerdy sophisticated stuff and make it human and beautiful reminds me of Steve Jobs.

    Amazing Technique. Can you also give us tutorial on how to copy and paste this bookmark ( slicer panel) in another sheet? or how we save this slicer panel as template then we can use in other reports too.

    • @yourownkpi
      @yourownkpi  6 месяцев назад

      Im glad you liked it :) As far as I know it's not possible to copy bookmarks in Power BI. You have to create them manually on each page.

    First of all thank you for your content which is very helpful. I may have missed someting tho because when I am using my app in power BI, I sometime click in the shape of the panel instead of the slicer and panel then come in front en hide the slicers. Do you have any idea on how to fix this ? Thanks again.

    • @yourownkpi
      @yourownkpi  7 месяцев назад +1

      Youre welcome! You need to make sure that the layer order is maintained. Selected the shape, go to Visualization panel/General/Properties/Advanced options/ toggle on Maintain layer order. This way the shape stays behind the slicers even when you click on it.

    Thanks for your amazing tutorials, Mr. Szabó. I followed the link to the pbix file of this video that you shared on Google Drive and it appears that the file is not the one for this video. Would you mind checking?

      Youre welcome! It is the correct file, you only have to build the visuals :D Tomorrow I upload part 4 and there the upload file will already have the finished part 3 version.

    Zsolti may I suggest something for your next video? 🙈🙈🙈🙈
    Can you please teach us how to create a multilanguage Dashboard in Power BI that enables the user to select a Slicer and change the visuals, table values and displayed names dynamically?
    I have been looking for something on Google, and RUclips and so far I couldn't find anything, something similar to a webpage that you click in a flag and then everything changes. Please, can you help me with this?

    • @yourownkpi
      @yourownkpi  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hm thats a good idea. Currently I'm working on other videos but I put this to my video ideas. What I can think of out of my head is to create conditionally formatted text for every visual, but maybe there is a better way 🤔

      @@yourownkpi For the titles and Legends it works, but the problem is the description in the Axis and values in the Tables.
      I think can't explain it properly so, I created this link to the database example and what I'm trying to see. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this crazy idea and record a video for one of your fans in the future, no rush, no pressure, no worries.

      I see what you mean. That could be an interesting video indeed :D
      What I'm thinking about is either creating a separate id column for all the languages or creating one big mesh dimension table with unpivoted columns. I don't know if these work, but Im also curious now :)
      Could I use your sample file if I made a video on this?

    • @HenriquedeAlbuquerque-x1x
      @HenriquedeAlbuquerque-x1x 7 месяцев назад

      @yourownkpi Hi Zsolt, yes, for sure you can use the file.
      I had an idea similar to yours: create a table with all the data and avoid duplicates in the dimensions by filtering the language in Power Query and linking them with parameters. The problem is that users cannot access parameters in the power bi service once it is published. So, I feel like I'm walking in circles. Now, I hope you can do some magic like 1..2...3 kaboom! 🤓🙈
