Oh, it's a "Crossbow"! I've only ever seen the Crimson Fleet and Spacer versions! I love this ship! It's great fun to capture and the interior feels like a proper ship.
I'm currently flying a Wight 3 I modified. Added more cargo, upgraded the engines to get 100 maneuverability, there are better Sal engines that get you the stats without 12 power. I also rearranged the Habs to give it a better interior flow and single central ladder.
Cha Ching, 43k to register, 93k to sell, one of the best fleet/spacer (eight or hyena) targets for profit. Also fairly easy to locate with the mission board. Practical use age is minimal due to rat maze interior. Great review.
Thanks again for another great video. I often use the Spacer version of this ship as a donor for builds. A cheaper option of upping the mobility is to add two more of the engines, provided you’ve done the first Walter mission (may not be required…), which can be picked up at the Stroud Eckland suppliers.
@@coyley72 Yes kinda, more like the starting point for a ship - solid reactor, great bridge and decent engines. A bit like a kit-car has a donor for an engine. It really should work like you say, re-usable parts especially ones that are replaced at your own "shipyard". Would be fun also to have space chop-shops & other parts-related mechanics and missions...
This design also resembles the Rifter and the Megathron from EVE Online and the TCS Midway from Wing Commander Prophecy as well as a couple other designs. Privateer II The Darkening had a carrier with this two-pronged design as well. What confuses me the most is that whenever you go over a lootable container and there is ammo in there, you don´t take it and it IRKS me to no end XD You probably load a specific safe game where you show what is needed for the video and don´t safe afterwards, but my hoarder instincts sceam out loud XD
Yeah, I do, haha. I tend to save beforehand so that I don't have to spend so much money buying and modifying. In some of my earlier reviews, I found pretty good legendaries in containers, and I was like, do I keep these or reload the save
They are all the exact same stat wise. the only real difference is the crimson fleet swaps out some of its cargo for shielded. So if you want to do smuggling, go with that one. If you are doing care for smuggling, then I'd go for the Hyena as you can steal one and save yourself some money
I just took over a Spacer Hyena II, same basic ship. But I can't stand the clutter. Spacers are filthy animals! This is so much more my style. I wonder if I could replace the Spacer habs with the same from any spaceport. Or maybe it would be better to just buy a Crossbow?
Wow, those stock SAL engines on the Crossbow III are a lower model... Like, not even counting the 6830 from the main quest there is a better version available, 6220 or something like that. If you had the 6830 the Crossbow III would likely hit 100 mobility. This ship should have enough Crew Stations to handle 9 crew(8 from Ship Command, Sarah as a free 9th due to her Leadership). So it might be worth putting some lower power drain weapons on the hull in higher numbers to 9 capacity.
I've been noticing it more and more that some expensive tier three ships have extremely low modules. You'd be assuming with the level requirement for the higher tier ships to spawn. They would have the best of each module by default
@@CrimsonFlyboy In your review of the Naginata I looked at the shields for the versions, because the Tier III had a junk shield at 300 capacity and found that the Mark I had 500 and the Mark II had 700. So the Mark III shield seems to be a mistake on Bethesda's part...

It's the basis for the Crimson Wight
This ship flies like it's an ice breaker. Slow but nothing can stop you. You can feel all that mass when coming about.

I love the coyotes, such badass looking ships.

@greydef can I ask what you mean by "a donor for builds"? You can take parts of this and they go into your stock for use on a different ship?

Also very similar to the Renegade. Each faction seems to have a version. Almost bought it but really difficult to upgrade the cargo.,

Paint it yellow and I was thinking Venture from Eve Online.
@@kevrod8979 Yes, that ship too, i just couldn´t remember the name.
It even appears in two games, i just forgot which was the second one...
What is the best version of this ship, Hyena III, Crossbow III or Crimson Flt Wight III, please? Thanks

@@CrimsonFlyboy Okay thanks, I have my eye on buying the Crossbow III
This is also the Spacer Hyena
I think the crimson ship you are thinking of is the wight.
That was it yeah

If you modify the ship at all, it will remove the clutter. Changing the habitats will make new stuff spawn and make it less messy and more neat
I feel like I have seen a way to basically use the outpost builder in ships with either console commands or a mod.
It's more than likely a mod. Hopefully, it comes to xbox when it gets mods. Will make ship building so much better
mine came slightly different, i dont have a computer core it came with another all in one crew quarters

Great video as usual
Yeah it is totally a white version of the spacer hyena.
Someone else noticed that the Compass points to the bridge.
Na, your good keep drinking 😂😂
It's a manakin and a womanakin
