As a phins fan and tua fan im glad to see hes finally getting the respect he deserves. This week should be a close game I cant see the bills missing so many tackles and leaving tyreek uncovered
Tua has been through the most unnecessary BS. I've never seen a QB deal with more crap. His story at the end of it all will be one for more athletes to hear. The guy is true to himself above all else and never gives up. I'm so happy things are working out. Great time to be a 🐬 fan
He recognizes the defense and he goes through his progressions so fast. Yes, he has great receivers but if the QB can’t recognize the defense and deliver, those WR are wasted.
Very good breakdown. This is the type of analysis that shows why Tua was always a 10 ten talent at the position. You see enough of this even in the flores era. You just need a scheme that allowed him to control defenses and throw spots on timing route ala Tom brady early 2010s
That off schedule rollout towards the end of your video against LA is my personal favorite from him. That thing was right where it needed to be while the defender was coming at him and he was falling away while rolling, in the 4th quarter on 3rd down on the road. What a play.
I've watched every throw Tua has made since Alabama. I learned a lot from your analysis. Great job!. Makes me believe we might pull off a big W this Sunday., Go fins!
I am glad for actual dissection of Tua and his abilities, as opposed to most of the people that focus on the one pass per game he might under throw. He has never been known for arm strength, but for his ability to not make mistakes and his accuracy. He is playing phenomenally!
The analysis is great and all but can I throw something in? Tua is doing that while throwing with his non dominant hand xD. I know he learned it that way, but it still amazes me.
I was too damn hard on the guy. I don’t care if he loses every game this year, that Broncos game even though they were a dead corpse on the fields, the way Tua played was just downright epic. Glad I was wrong about him
I'm glad you can admit that. Too many dolphins' fans who didn't understand his skill set were calling him a bust. I played football and coached it for over a decade, and I knew he was the worst kind of QB to go against as a former DB.
@@mroverdose14those arent real fans bro trust me, i go to war with them every week cause i really am a die hard fan. Its ridiculous for a fins "fan" to say tua sucks when the past 25 years we've had qbs who were actually dog 💩
@@mroverdose14 I’m a bills fan so I’m not too thrilled thinking about how good he is but the kid has it going on. I’m a bama guy and thought he was decent for the NCAA but didn’t think he’d do much professionally at all. I was part of the crowd saying he’d suck it up real bad. If he keeps up with what he’s doing right now he’s going to be something fierce to go against! Hoping the bills game is going to be great!
Tua and Purdy are interesting, obviously Tua is better, but I find it interesting that these quarter backs tend to win by being accurate and not making mistakes, and not through their physicality. I’m excited to watch both of them.
I hope this turns into a Jim Kelly versus Dan Marino type thing between two and Josh Allen. It's good for the league and it's good for the AFC East. Respect from rhis Dolphins fan. Both teams to walk away.the game with health. We ahould have 2 more after this one.
he's got physical limitations for sure, but looking at this year and when he was healthy last year, he's looking like the best pure passer in the league. bills fans i'm sure hate miami and him, but you guys of all fan bases understand that growth. allen was zach wilson first couple years. get diggs, get daboll, improve accuracy, boom, top 5 qb. tua needed oline, weapons, and competent coaching, and he's becoming top 5 as well. bills/fins is gonna be a powerhouse matchup for years to come.
As a phins fan much respect. Is good to see that even a fan to a division rival can appreciate that tua is all out balling right now. In the comparison of tua to all other qb's in the league statistics prove that through 3 games tua is the best QB better then mahomes better then Allen better then burrows. Stats don't lie. Sunday will be a great game good luck to the bills and mad respect to you. Thanks for being real
Great video as always! You are easily my favorite sports youtuber out there! I would love to see a video on Puka Nacua and if his great start is sustainable :)
Phins fan here, been watching your vids for years. Great stuff. Be very interested in breakdown of McDaniel's offense from your perspective. Is what they are doing replicable at all for other teams, or do you need Tua Tyreek and Waddle? I'd assume it's somewhere between, you can't fully replicate, but other teams can borrow some concepts from it.
And yet some are saying any decent QB can be plugged in this system and will succeed the same, discrediting Tua. However, I love when they say that, reminds me of what people used to say about Brady 🐐. I used to say that about Brady, I learned the hard way, but I was young and dumb. We live and we learn.
Good content as always Billy, being a stat guy I just wanted to make a quick point. When you talk about the evolution of his Completion % while holding onto the ball for >2.5s, you don't say his completion % is up 12 % but 12 points. It's just a matter of precision, but as always I enjoy a lot your videos, it helps me understand the game better as an european guy. Take care
I beg to differ about Buffalo's defense being better than what the Fins have faced so far. Sure that defense has only allowed 29 points but look at the QBs they have faced: Zach Wilson, Jimmy G and Sam Howell. The secondary didn't even have to sweat too much against Washington's attempt at a pass game. The Fins pass game will test how the Bills secondary rotates in coverage. Plus I have zero confidence the Bills trench talents up front generates enough pressures to make Tua sweat. He'll keep using his eyes as he does and keeps attacking spaces in between where his quickest receivers will just 'pop' in to catch the ball because of how quick they separate and get to their landmarks. Regarding the system he thrives in, the next level stuff isn't the stuff you know he would do anyway. Its the stuff like him doing a shovel hand off to an RB with his right hand (yes he's naturaly right handed) with how McDaniel has the run game going is something worth seeing as it develops.
The blocking seems to be much better. You think that’s why he’s been better over 2.5 sec compared to last season ? I think it’s that and he’s just more comfortable in this offense. Playing with way more confidence even after the structure is broken .
As a Dolphins fan, I was happy to see the Bills do so well the last few years... because... after all... at least it wasn't the damn Tom Bradyiots. Am I right?
Super hype for the Bills matchup Sunday. Miami hasn't met a defence quite like the Bills' so far, and the Bills D hasn't faced an offence like the Fins so far. I could see the Bills defence making a few big plays and the offense smothering the clock with short passes, but as we all know this is gonna be a battle for both teams. As long as it's a fun as hell game I'm happy (go bills, though!)
So let me understand something, the only bad defenses are the three teams Tua played, the other teams around the NFL have good defenses because no one else is doing what Tua is doing
@@AJAXRAIDERthe same argument can be made about any other defenses that any other team beats. It can also be argued that a top ranked defense has played poor offenses = a lazy and silly statement; it leads nowhere. People don't say the Bills defense looked so good because of the offenses and QBs they've faced.
Poyers play has been a step or 2 off (limited in practice)... safety and linebackers will be challenged this week for sure... It's a great game for Kaiir Elam to be dismissed from his grounding... bring it Ph(f)ins fans.. it's time for war..... #gobills
