Had to see your kitchen after Jammerill suggested, and all I can say is OMG!! Why did I not have a pot filler when I was young and still cooked for a brood! Outstanding!!
How do you like your stove? We are a family of 9 and I have this electric stove. I have lived here for 7 years and had to replace it twice because I use the HECK out of my range and oven. It’s just not cutting the mustard! So, we are thankfully going to be building a new house and I definitely want a gas range that I can cook for my family. I am loving the one you have!!! It’s absolutely beautiful.
I enjoy it...it's beautiful for sure! Practically speaking, I don't use the gas side often because it just doesn't cook as well, and they are not full-size ovens, so I am usually working with less space. I don't think I would recommend it for a large family.
Jammeril sent me here. Wow your kitchen is beautiful. I want that kitchen flooring!! I just love it! Love your giant stove and sink.. And what a great job you did on the kitchen cabinets. All very very nice! I would stay in there all day. lol I would spray paint the refrigerator to match the stove.
I’m a subscriber from Jamerrill’s channel and so I came to your channel since I have seen you on her channel . I agree I have cabinets (upper and lower) that I painted a beautiful slightly ivory or off white color... It’s pretty but I’m constantly having to scrub and wipe them down ! I do a lot of from scratch cooking and it’s such a job to keep them clean ..I see ppl with white on white kitchens and I just don’t know how they can keep it clean if they do very much cooking in it their kitchen! I’m still trying to figure out what color I want to paint them .. ha.. Your kitchen is beautiful! I would love all that space , mine is a small square except my fridge area is open so I can have a huge fridge (love that ) and I have quite a lot of cabinets and a good sized pantry for the space but just normal size area for a stove , sigh, love your huge stove and wish I had gas instead of electric! When I had a gas stove I loved it and hated leaving it behind when we moved since it was too much trouble to put gas in for a gas stove at the house we moved too .. The area you have your microwave and toaster in would be a huge space to have a built in a very large cabinet to hold the toaster oven and microwave in it and would also give you some extra bottom storage .. and who doesn’t need more storage?!! It would also tie in that end of the room to have the same cabinet style and color .. I think it would be gorgeous! Hope you find a solution for them! Congratulations on your beautiful kitchen!

Nice kitchen. Came from Jamerril's chanel to check out your tour. We recently built a new master bathroom and am finishing up remodeling our house and I was debating on black or white cabinets. Went with black because I just know white would drive me crazy on how often I'd have to clean them
I love it! The cabinets and floors are beautiful! I get what you are saying about white - bad idea with a big family. I have 6 kids and just moved to a house with white tile floors in the kitchen - it is the bane of my existence 😩
Thank you so much, Christina! Would you believe that I considered a white tile floor for a while...the kind with small white hexagonal tiles, with occasional black hexagons in the shape of a flower. But pragmatism won out and I realized how difficult it would be to maintain a clean look!
Right now, I just wipe down the grates and around the burner with a damp microfiber cloth. I am going to need to clean the inside of the oven soon though. I need to read the manual to see which cleaners are okay to use for that. :)
@@AshleyMBuffa I was asking because I have a 36” wide KitchenAid that we have had for almost a year and I’ve yet to figure out the best way to clean it. LOVE your kitchen. You have such great style!
Do you still have your owner's manual? I would check that first before trying anything. I read a story about someone ruining the inside of their bigger range by using a typical oven cleaner, so I'm kind of spooked!
I love the color choices you made. I think the cabinets are fabulous! I am not an open shelving type person because of dust, dirt, debris, and floating cooking grease. However, the lower half of your kitchen is just beautiful. Congratulations! Blessings 💕💕

Beautiful kitchen! It will be the center of so many memories to come :) I'd love to know any special care you need to do for floor, butcher block, counters, stove - all the things! We are looking a a kitchen remodel down the road and I love learning all the maintenance things as well as function
Thank you, Amber! This kitchen is definitely the heart of our home! For the floor, it's porcelain tile, so the upkeep is the same as any tile, with the added benefit of any potential future grout stains adding to it's "old world charm"! That's one of the main reasons why I chose it! My husband is actually going to strip the butcher block of the first thing he used to finish it. He's not happy with the finish and wants to use something stronger. So he'll be refinishing it with Waterlox, which is what we used to seal our dining table that he made, and that stuff if indestructible! The counters will need to be resealed annually, and I am still learning the ins and outs of caring for the range, but the stove does get wiped down at least daily!!
