He remembers everything, and is always so gracious about pointing out Jerry Finnerman's genius as a cinematographer. Ralph is the best example of what classic television was, at its pinnacle. "Metamorphosis" is Star Trek's finest, and if you want to see a masterclass in how to direct episodic television, watch The Waltons episode "The Pony Cart". He is a treasure.
