Beefcake is full of crap. It’s well known Haku grabbed him by the throat in the locker room and lifted him off the ground and it took Tonga kid, Hogan, Pat Paterson and Vince to talk Haku into letting him go.

I saw the last Monday Night Raw, before the WWF became the WWE and the small crowd was packed into one section of the arena, so it would seem more packed. They let me in, with a sign that said, "Below Me", w/ a downward-pointing arrow (yes, it was taken from an SNL Jeopardy skit). Every time there was a lull in the action, I would stand up, put the sign over my head and bellow out, "BELOW ME!". That one packed little section of fans cracked up every time.

I'll give credit to Brutus where it's due. Around 1998-99 Brutus was doing the small show circuits and stopped by Worcester, Ma. to do a small match show. He stopped into a small nightclub back then called The 80's Lounge. Great club that lasted about 4 years. Anyways it was half dead that night and got to sit with and enjoy Eddy aka "Brutus Beefcake" for about 2 hours. Not once did I act like a fan or even ask for a pic. After the Wahoo incident, Namath called a players only meeting where he said he didn’t care if he was liked or not but if anybody had a problem with him he’d talk about it with them. I remember being a kid and seeing promo postings in the local paper for Greg “The Hammer” Valentine coming to town, I didn’t get into wrestling until like 96/97, so I didn’t know how big he was at one time, (he was not in wwf/wcw at this time) him and AJ Styles used to always come around my city and I’d see there names not knowing who they were or were going to become. I see AJ is a big star in WWE now which is amazing.

Back in the mid 90s i saw both these guys having lunch at a Venice beach cafe and i went to go sit in the sand and observe them. Well about Five minutes later I saw Greg was just looking at me and im like “ok time to go”.
