Henglong beat tAmiya under the sunlight. But tamiya can shoot more than 10feet. Tamiya is way way better.

Ok this will be my last comment sorry..but im thinkin as 3-d printing becomes more widespread(cheaper) it would be great to make detail Styrofoam pieces and layers of foil over that and use some kind of? Rounds?..i just bought a Tamiya pz2 model copyright 1971 and it has all moving wheels and a spot for a motor gearbox and bateries so i hope this all happens soon

I saw the video and can see the clark board and tamiya tanks with the tamiya TBUs getting slaughtered... The HL sensors are terrible under the hot sun and wouldnt register any hits... Its banned in our club for competitions...

Question: do you have to be a member of the club to play at events like this, or can you just bring a Tamiya compatible tank?
(For context, I just discovered this hobby and I'm saving up for a Heng Long T-34...I'm also in Eastern Ontario and somewhat limited in what I can get out to...)
In my club yes, I paid 50$ for the whole year and we are located in Mississauga Ontario, we do mostly every weekends. Im not sure of The other club we also play in Waterloo called (Can/Am Rc tank club). Maybe they also have a membership fees but they invite us and so do we (VietRCClub). We battle each other. You can check us out in Facebook groups, you can visit us one day.
Yes Tamiya is a high end tanks but henglong can also battle Tamiya with version 6.0S up.
Henglong t34 is an awesome Russian tank and I recommend the Pro version so everything is steel. No need to upgrade.

Buy Tamiya Tanks with battle ready infrared system. Henglong Tanks cheaper ends but battle ready also. Latest version of henglong tanks are nice.

What was that I didn't see anything that even resembled a battle just a bunch of tanks running around a child's play ground demonstrating. There ability tomove around a obstacle course and cross bridges I give your mock battle creativity an .F. for adult creativity resembling a child's crestion
Infrared sensors register the hits and knockout after three, but they really are supposed to fire bbs.
