Take the flat iron and bend it to bump it a little to blend your hair with the weave ,or even add another row up tape ins.Your did a great job ❤️it's beautiful.I want to do my daughter and mines.Im retired from doing hair but this is less time consuming then sew INS that also take my hair out from the pulling edges and the lace rubbing the hair off my front. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks for the tips! I've been using clip-ins at the top of my head to create more fullness. I was worried the tape-ins would show, so I didn't go to high up with them. haha
Wonderfully explained, thank you for not rambling and staying on topic. You did an amazing job, especially doing it yourself. Beautiful 🤩 👏🏾👏🏾 looking forward to trying this myself thanks to your directions.
These look gorgeous on you. Tape ins are my go too because I have thin hair. Sometimes I’ll even just cut them to my natural short length and it makes it look like I have a full head of hair!
It looks so beautiful, thank you for sharing 🥰 Was it complicated to wash your hair while having the tapeins in? Was it hard to maintain the style also while exercising? 💕
Thank you! Washing wasn't complicated, but I did have to be gentle due to my hair being naturally curly and the hair being straight. Maintenance while exercising wasn't difficult either. I also don't sweat a lot, so I'm sure that plays a part in it as well.
You honestly made this look sooo easy i wanna try myself question is your pressed or relaxed jus asking for reference also can you use them again after or ?
Hi! Did you leave hair out in between the tape-ins, just left hair out for parting purposes or did you do a row tape-ins/ row natural hair - row tape-ins/row tape-ins? Thnx for answering!
Yes, I left my hair out in between the rows. The tape-ins are spaced out. I have more of my natural hair out than I do in tape-ins. Hope that makes sense!
I didnt see you apply the heat on them i guess to make them stick better, so do we not need to use heat at all? Does it make it easier for them to come off? Oh this video is 2years old so I guess im too late asking questions😂
This looks soooo good on you and blends really well. Do you have any discomfort while sleeping? And is it easy to wash your hair when the tapins are in?
Not at all. I don't feel them at all. Wash day was weird because my hair is naturally curly, so dealing with the two textures was awkward haha. i recorded my wash process with them though!
Sis I’ve been wanting tape ins since 2016 but I keep cutting my hair back off but last October was the last time I’ve been growing it since. Bc I be over the frontals and sew ins n glue etc like tape me up n let me go for a good two months before I need to redo them. I can’t wait to get some more length so I can get some done
Amazing video! I would love to do this for my prom! I was thinking about doing this style but half up half down if i can do that..? And also i play softball so i wear a helemt and work out can i still have this hairstyle?
Yes, you sandwich your hair in between to tape in pieces. They're easy to remove. You can use an oil of your choice or alcohol to remove them. I prefer the oil method haha
I thought I hit reply when I answered your question yesterday. The flatiron I'm using in this video is the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium. I have it linked in the description. The flatiron I used to straighten my hair before installing the tapeins is the Sedu. That's my go to.
A texturizer is still a perm, so I wouldn't recommend that if you are still wanting to remain natural. BetterLength has many different textures. Consider getting your hair silk pressed if you're wanting a straight texture or get a curly texture to match your natural hair.

Thanks so much! Yes, I love the fullness it gives me.
She did an excellent job applying these. Blends perfectly. I want to see the takedown. Tape and hair together, worry me😂 But beautiful results😍😍
Thanks so much! It worried me as well. I plan on filming a video of the takedown.
@@JussErin I want to try these, I hope you record the takedown 🤞🏾. They look good on you and love the concept of no braids...
Thank you! I plan to!
You did amazing 😍 I can't believe how well it turned out!
Thank you! 😊
👏🏽 Omg you did such a great job and because of you now I’m definitely making the move 🥰
Ayyy! Thank you!
Most informative video I’ve watched so far!! Thnx girl, def trying these. They look amazing on you..esp 5 weeks out😍
Yay! Thank you!
Honestly this looks fairly easy for how much people charge to install i always do my own hair will be trying this
Yes! If you have the patience I’m sure you can do it :)
Yes I don’t see why they charge so much because it’s simple for a stylist
Best video I’ve watched on this 😍 thank you ☺️ also, love your voice 💜
Thanks so much!
Excellent job; flat ironing the adhered tape-ins is an added insurance policy to ensure they stay put.
Thanks for the tip!
That’s what I was just going to ask if you had to apply heat to the taps I seen some ppl doing it that way
This would be perfect for my relaxed hair, might have to try it
You should!
Thank you you have given me the confidence to do it. It’s expensive to get the salon to do it
You’re welcome 😊
Wonderful video! You have a lovely personality and tone of voice as well!
Thank you!
first, you are gorgeous!! second, you did that ! your hair looks great 🤎 Is it hard to wash your hair with the tape-ins in?
Thank youuuu! Washing is easy! It was the blowdry that was difficult for me
It looks so beautiful, thank you for sharing 🥰 Was it complicated to wash your hair while having the tapeins in? Was it hard to maintain the style also while exercising? 💕

Quick and informative video. Thanks for sharing ☺️
Thanks for watching!
You honestly made this look sooo easy i wanna try myself question is your pressed or relaxed jus asking for reference also can you use them again after or ?
My hair is natural. Yes, you can use them again you just have to replace the adhesive on the tape ins
You did great and made it look easy! Mine only last 3.5-4 weeks
Thank you!
This video is literally the best
Thanks girl!

Super Gorgeous and natural 😍
Thank you so much 😀
How many did you buy
Thank you so much for this!!!
So helpful and detailed.
Amazing install
I would of gotten frustrated
Been looking into tape ins as well
Trying to get my sister to help me lol
Thank you! lol Yes, get some help haha
This looks soooo good on you and blends really well. Do you have any discomfort while sleeping? And is it easy to wash your hair when the tapins are in?
Not at all. I don't feel them at all. Wash day was weird because my hair is naturally curly, so dealing with the two textures was awkward haha. i recorded my wash process with them though!
with a tiny bit more layers it would make the blend even more seamless but still a great install😍
Thank you! I agree! I purposely didn't add more towards the front of my head because of the way I planned on wearing them.
Love the video ❤️… how long did it take you to install?
I think this took me about 2 hours
Sis I’ve been wanting tape ins since 2016 but I keep cutting my hair back off but last October was the last time I’ve been growing it since. We’re both on a growing journey! I’m trying to grow my hair back out after my recent cut!
@@JussErin ok ok let’s do this then
Amazing video! I would love to do this for my prom! I was thinking about doing this style but half up half down if i can do that..? And also i play softball so i wear a helemt and work out can i still have this hairstyle?
You absolutely can! You just half to make sure the tape-ins are put in in a way that allows you to wear it in that style!
I'm a bit confused, are you putting the sticky part on your hair and if so how easy or hard is it to remove?
Yes, you sandwich your hair in between to tape in pieces. They're easy to remove. You can use an oil of your choice or alcohol to remove them. I prefer the oil method haha
@@JussErin thank you
Wow you did an awesome job
Thank youuu!
@@JussErin Yw beautiful
🤩 Wow
How many packs is in your hair
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
You did n amazing job. Looks gorgeous
Thank you so much!
Wow very good job 👏🏼
Thank you!
Looks good. Take out will not pull out your hair?
Thanks. Nope, as long as you take them out correctly.
ooo i love this, would i be able to dye the hair extensiosn?
Thanks! Yes! You can :)
you did an excellent job!
Thank you!
I want to try this hair it looks nice do they sell all types cause I am natural
Yes, they have all types of textures!
You didn't an awesome job. Look so pretty and natural.
Thanks so much!
This video is well put together
Thank you!
I love this one ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Beautiful! Thank you.
Thank you!
So I’m guessing more tape ins need to be added to cover your leave out?
Can you use any oil in your hair?
Only when taking them out. Oil causes the tapes to loosen and slip out, so you wouldn't use oil if you want them to remain in.
This helped so much thanks
Glad it helped!
Niceee. You did a great job
Thank you!
Ughhhh So gorgeous
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing!!!🌺
Thanks for watching!
that’s a great method
Thank you!
What lengths did you get ?
I got 20"
i hope you see this, but how long did this process take ?
Ohhh, I think like 2 hours. I can do it in about 1 hour now.
How did you get them out? Oil? Washed?
I used oil
Hi, do you think 1 bundle is good if you just want some fullness?
Yes, I think so.
GREAT video!!
Thanks!!
Good job, love your video
Thank you!!
Nice vid! Looks so good
Thanks so much!
Hi!!! How many pieces do you use?
Hello! In this video I used 60 pieces.
How many did you get?
2 bundles. Which equals 80 pieces.
Can you wash your hair while using tape ins
Yes! I have a video showing myself washing it!
How long did it take for you to receive the hair? I just ordered because of you heh
Oh yay! I hope you like them. I honestly don't remember. I don't think it took more than a week in a half.
What brand of flat iron are u using? I need to get a new one. Thanks
??
Why is it when u ask a question u don't get an answer just a Like. 🤔🤔
I thought I hit reply when I answered your question yesterday. The flatiron I'm using in this video is the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium. I have it linked in the description. The flatiron I used to straighten my hair before installing the tapeins is the Sedu. That's my go to.
Would they slip out if you sweat or work out a lot?
I didn't have that problem!
So pretty 😍
Thank you! 😊
What do you do when the 2 sandwich tapes shift and aren’t on top of each other any more? Or when the ends lift?
I did't have that problem, but if it was to occur you can using oil or rubbing alcohol to remove the tape-ins.
Great job!!
Thank you!
And where do you buy these tape ins at ?
They're linked in the description :)
I have 4c hair I really don't want to perm it what if I got a silk press or textrizer??
A texturizer is still a perm, so I wouldn't recommend that if you are still wanting to remain natural. BetterLength has many different textures. Consider getting your hair silk pressed if you're wanting a straight texture or get a curly texture to match your natural hair.
How many pieces did this take?
she said she ended up using 60
How many tapes did you used for this look ? Thx from Paris
I used 60 pieces in this video.
Do they have diff textures?
Yes! They have many textures.
Love this. Ima ask my mom to do it for me Lol
HAHA! Yes!
When removing do they pull your hair out
I was very gently when taking them out, so I didn't have that issue. I uploaded a video showing me taking them out if you want to check it out!
so when you got towards the top of your hair, u stopped applying the tape ins & just covered it with your real hair?
Yes. I left a lot of hair out near the top just for personal preference.
Thanks so much . Thinking of trying .
Go for it!
Erin, do you prefer these tape-ins over clip-ins?
That’s tough! Haha in this very moment, tape-ins!
Got it
Do you have to have natural hair to do tape in ?
Nope! All you need is hair haha
Hey how long they last?
It's recommended you only leave the in for 6-8 weeks. I left mine in for 9 haha
You’re so pretty
Thank you!
How long do these last?
6-8 weeks
When you say 2 bundles for a natural look you mean 80 pieces instead of 40 right ?
Yes!
How meny date use this tape
I believe I used 60. I think I mention how many I used in the video.
Can you please do styles ?
Yes! That video is coming out tomorrow.
Mine didn’t seem to stick 🥺
Is it reusable?
Yes, you just replace the tape tabs.
My question is how tall are you?
5'4 and a half.
@@JussErin ok that’s helpful!! I’m 5’10 so the length would look different on me
In my area tape in installation no hair included is $350. Ima try it myself lol
geeeshhh! haha I believe in you!
Where are u located? Can u do mine? Lol
I thought you was supposed to sandwich the tape ins?
You are. That's what I show in the video. i didn't include every time I did in this video because it would have made the video too long.
@@JussErin ok thank you for clarifying 😂
Are these tape ins reusable?
Yes! You just replace the tape tabs.
How long do they last? Do they slip out easy?
I left them in for 9 weeks! I have a take down video up! Nope, mine stayed in well :)
So pretty 😍
Thank you Ke'Andra! 😊
