At 12.06 is a plate on the loco "LMS built 1896 HORWICH". This is a bit odd as the LMS only came about in 1926, prior to which HORWICH was run by the L&Y. Or is 1896 the works number?

I think it should really say built by the L&YR at Horwich but there must be a reason it say LMS cheers Steve
