If you believe in the theory of evolution like me these are the weirdest things that lead to us chattin on yt today
1: Big single cell organism swallowin a small single cell organism without the big one digesting it (the small one turned into the mitochondria which is one of the most important parts in our cells providing power)
2: 5 mass extinctions takin place the biggest one wiping out 95% of all life without which we wouldnt have had a chance
3: Sapiens comin out on top over the neanderthals which were more well equipped
4: our population shrinkin below 10000 at one point makin humans an endangered species
5: all the plagues and wars takin part in recent human history which we talked about
The chances of winnin the lottery every single time you buy a ticket and gettin struck by lightning every time we leave the house are higher than than all of this takin place

A slight correction to this video -The bomb dropped on Hiroshima didn't detonate with a fore of 15 tons of TNT, it was 15 kilotons, or 15000 tons of TNT.

I knew an old man who served in world war 1. He had breathing difficulties because he was exposed to mustard gas. Him and his wife was a very nice couple.

I love learning about history, I just find it so crazy to think how those peoples lives are so unimaginably different to ours, but they were all real people with their own issues.
I'm surprised the Great Depression wasn't mentioned at any point.
Forget the Great Depression, early 17th century Europe, especially Germany, would be a far worse era to be alive (likely not for long).

You forgot about the Great Depression (and the "Dust Bowl") in between Spanish flu and WWII. Also the Nanking massacre during WWII. Also there was 1816, aka "The Year without a Summer." Yeah there are many.

It's really shocking when you think about all the horrible tragedies menkind has gone through, and somehow it has managed to overcome them, of course many of those tragedies could've been prevented, like the two big wars, but again we humans like to learn the toughest way possible. Excellent video.
Can we just say that compared to these horrible time in history, despite a few problems we’re encountering now, humans are living in their best time. Technology, inventions, advancement in medicine, peace time for now, we have never lived more comfortable.
