You know what back then in the 80’s they should made a sequel out of this film call'ed The Goonies (1985) so that way they will call'ed it The Goonies 2 In Search Of Monster Island (1987) so they can bring back the same actors like Sean Astin as Mikey Josh Brolin as Brand Corey Feldman as Mouth Jonathan Ke Quan as Data Jeff Cohen as Chunk Kerri green as Andy Martha Plimpton as Stef and two new Goonie kid’s name Molly Ringwald as Malinda (Mikey’s Girlfriend that she moved to the goon docks where Mikey’s house is) and Leo O'Brien as Joey (Mouth’s Buddy from next door) but they will bring back John matuszak as Sloth (that he always said Hey You Guys!) even they will add New Bad Guys like Christopher Walken as Gary (the leader of the Modern day Pirates that he’s obsessed of looking for Golden treasures on Monster island) even Nicholas worth Brion James Randy Savage Louis Gossett Jr Reb Brown Robert wall as Gary’s henchmen and Sean Young as Lisa (the hench lady that she always wanted diamonds) & even they will add Stop motion Dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex Triceratops Brontosaurus Stegosaurus Pteranodon Dimetrodon Ceratosaurus Plesiosaurus Pachyrinosaurus Woolly Mammoth Woolly Rhinoceros Giant Ground Sloth and even the White Pongo The Giant Gorilla Ape but The Dinosaurs and The Giant Gorilla Ape are going to be stop motion animation by David Allen The Chiodo Brothers & Ray Harryhausen even Creature Animatronic by Randall William Cook Film editor by Todd C Samsay Visual effects by Peter Kuran Sloth Make up artist by Rob Bottin Music by Dave Grusin Writer by Philip Kaufman Screenplay by Chris Columbus Executive producer by Dino De Laurentiis Producer by Ivan Reitman Directed by Don Coscarelli so The Goonies 2 film will be filmed in V.C.E and it will be from Warner Bros & De Laurentiis Entrainment Group and it will came out in March 1987 it will released in theaters it will open against Richard Donner’s movie Lethal Weapon (1987) but if Film Critics Siskel and Ebert might think the Movie Called The Goonies 2 In Search Of Monster Island (1987) is going to be like a knock off of King Kong and The Blue Lagoon!
@Devo13 Well I can tell you back then they should make a sequel out of it like they can hired New filmmakers like the producers Dino De Laurentiis Ivan Riteman Charles Band and a new film 🎞 Director Don Coscarelli the guy who made Phantasm (1978) and The Beastmaster (1982)!
@@CubanPete1990 A little too late now but since I am 52 I was watching Kenny and Co. and The Double McGuffin since they came out when I was a kid and they were amazing. I'm guessing The Goonies may have been loosely based on those two films probably a couple others including the whole older days of the Gas House Kids/Bowery Boys/Dead End Kids/Little Tough Guys/etc. and Little Rascals. But even when I was watching The Goonies at the theater that debut weekend it even seemed REAL familiar like it was VERY inspired from Kenny and Company and The Double McGuffin. Even Meatballs(with Bill Murray) and Little Darlings have a little bit of that early Goonies flow to it. Even something like Bad News Bears in Breaking Training has that feel to it.
Every time I watch it, I feel like a kid again. I can’t explain the feeling except it’s special.
Yep I'm 42 and still get that warm feeling.
Tim Crawford me too. Feelings like missing
I know that feeling
I'M 52. ME TOO.
I get half depressed because it reminds me of a time that is gone!!! But I can't resist watching it!
Take me back in time, such a great era to grow up in.
God, wasn't it, though?
@@giggles7179 Yes it was!
Best film ever!!
I AGREE!!!
I use to love it as a child.
Blessed to have grown up with this film! Feel sorry for the new generation now.
Jack Meh off I’m apart of gen z and love this movie and 1900s music and tv lol it just depends on the type of person u are

Me too
Watching the goonies and the never ending story give me such strong nostalgia it’s almost painful
Classic!!!
Some of them really took that oath to heart.
I am a goonie
When Richard is doing that speech at 2:15, I'd be thinking, "Why doesn't he just play the role?"
4:51 The sequence which The Fratellis stumble upon Chester Copperpot's skeleton.
4:05
The Oscar winner had to be told to wait for "Action!"
I wish I was there no film beats the goonies
4:57 Richard Donnor kicking Chester Copperpot's skeleton.
Fun Fact: Sean Astin who plays as Mikey is in the second and third season of Stranger Things. And in the movie Click
should’ve kept the store scene

1:43 Excuse me?!
2:17 Explanation.
4:22 typical woman villain 😂😂
It's a fact that villains don't see themselves as the villain and they think they're the hero.
