Title track to their 2nd album. A concept album, they were 18, 16, and 13 when it was released. the word Pau is singing in the pre chorus is Korosu. A Japanese word that roughly translates to 'kill' or 'murder'. The Gibson Explorer that Dany is playing , is the one that was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. They toured together in summer of '22, Lzzy presented it to her on stage in the middle of The Warning's set when Dany was waiting for a guitar change. This is the song she needed the switch for. If you are interested in the concept album storyline, the QOTMS album was played in it's entirety at Lunario CDMX 2018. Another great concert to check out ,after you finish this one.
This song was their 2nd most difficult song to write for the album behind Ugh. The screams heard in the background were recorded by Daniela in the dark in their home studio, The Warning Cave. Pau and Ale said it was scary to hear her especially when she started laughing. The guitar tuning is in drop D, and it sounds dissonant and off key as well as an odd time signature, especially on the drums. I don't think some of the drum beats were on 1, maybe 2 and 3. They were definitely staccato in some places. Maybe that's why they found it hard to write.
If I'd of known it was fancy dress Grandad, I would have made an effort!!! I have a ticket to see them in Birmingham 21st April. I did look at Leeds and Manchester as Birmingham was sold out - but a friend managed to source one for me (lucky me!).
Glad to see you read the comments but despite the unnecessary sarcasm I am glad Ale and Dany got a little praise. We all have our favourites just as we have favourite reactors and you are definately in my top 1000.
Keep an eye out closer to the show date. Good chance someone will be trying offload a ticket or the prices on the reseller sites will drop. Definitely try to get there if you can!
I'm not sure where you live in France, but The Warning is also playing the Mainsquare Festival in Arras on July 5th. They are playing the Green Room and have a one hour set from 6:45 to 7:45 PM. Festival details can be found on the internet.
It's okay I would venture to say that most people favor Pau. She so tiny and unassuming. But she's just an absolute monster on the drums. And she can rip your heart out with her vocals.
*Queen of the Murder Scene* (aka QOTMS) is the title song of their 2nd album... a concept album written when Dany (guitar) and Pau (drums) were barely teenagers! the album tells the foreboding dark story of unrequited love and the Queen through her battles between good and evil over her soul... the full story of the concept album is best experienced in order from *Dust to Dust* all the way to *The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade)* ... this title song of the album depicts the evil side of the Queen flaunting its immortality and some might also say its immorality... you don't really want to understand what its like to have blood on your hands. you don't deserve it, the crown is mine! I love when The Warning lean into their more "metal" style! Awesome reaction!

It’s perfect too. Whenever the 🎸Gibson Explorer 🎸appears metal ensues🤘🤘
