Hi. Thanks for watching. I feel pretty good about this "cheap" foam. Since posting the video yesterday, my 5 yr old and I did some torture testing to a scrap large piece. Threw some dirt, oil and coffee and let it sit for a few hours. We washed it off..... perfect! I was impressed. So, like you, Im hoping it holds up for a while! I think Im going to video a torture test and really put the foam up against some terrible stuff. Cheers
Hi, thanks for taking interest in the videos. I appreciate it. Well, music wise, I like to curate my choices by listening to songs from one of my subsciptions. Epidemic Sound, Artlist and most recently RUclips music. I listen and make playlists with the intention of using them later. Thanks again
Hey, really nice idea with the border piece of eva foam around the sleeping cabin. Did you just glue it on top of the main eva foam sheet? Or did you cut a border in the main sheet, and then stick the slim piece in the gap? Thx for the answer, and for the content. Definitely a gem of a channel that deserve more eyes.
Hi, thanks for watching. I layed the main "body" or large piece of Eva Foam on to the deck with spray adhesive. The blue tape came into play when installing the boarder trim. I took my cut strip "boarder" and placed it on top of the main piece I just layed down. Then traced, marked and cut the main sheet. The blue tape helped the cut end come up easy. Leaving the plywood deck underneath. I sprayed some more adhesive to where I wanted the new trim to go. Then carefully layed down the boarder strip tightly to the main sheet. Trying to have no gapping. Its working well so far. Hey, maybe I'll make a quick "how to video" just about EVA foam. Thanks again for question. Cheees
@@RebuildProjects I just did a similar install on a 16 foot aluminium boat, and really like your idea of adding a border. it's just look more finished. Unfortunately i will have to order another sheet, since i use all the piece to cover the rail around the perimeter of the boat. Thx the videos
Lol, Its a wonder. During this project I often feel like I live more in my garage/shop than my home. Honestly, I can't wait for more outdoor projects and adventures in the near future.
I used the cheap eva foam in my crab boat ,you won't be disappointed if it gets dirty or smelly wash down with 25% bleach and water and wash off ,all done

Hi. Im with you about needing a heater. However, the wifey wont come out unless there is a heater on board. We do try to strech our season into november some years. Thanks for watching.
Coming long very nicely. I’ve also used the “cheap” EVA foam in my boat. It’s been 2 years now & is holding up excellent! Zero complaints

Awsome...heavy duty work.
Where are you finding your music? It's one of the better selections I've run across.

Interesting to see someplace besides the inside of your garage.

Thank you Tony for watching. Episode 16 is coming soon. Finishing up the sleep cabin today. Video out Friday. Hope your having a good week. Cheers
Don't know why you would need a heater. Just bundle up and if it's too cold for that you shouldn't be out on a boat anyway.
