i think Fatslob wants to dedicate 1 tc to farmers, he most likely will have 1 tc for each recourse (maybe none for stone) and organises his eco that way. i often have the problem of pulling to many off of wood and then not having enough wood income
I don't play, so I have to ask... Would it make sense to set up a lumber camp right next to where he walled (or some other relatively thin place close to his base) and chop your way through the trees for some kind of rush?... Just, like, be in his base before he's ready, because he thinks he has forever?
7:20 talking about Fatslob's odd Gather point quirk, and during this, Fatslob has actually moved his gather point to wood, and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks
It's actually more clicks for me to set a gather point for a villager to get wood and then reassign him to building a farm (and he has to walk from the wood to the town center/mill too) rather than just let him be close by the town center and build the farm 2 steps away from it. I think that is his thought process, it is certainly mine as a new player in the competitive scene.
Holy shit, I remember when Dico first posted about the AoE2 capture project he was working on with someone. I had no idea it'd gotten so good/widely used
16:38 I didn't know that about farms, T90. Does it only work for farms? Cause I always either try to pick vills that had just deposited at the lumber camp or I always made them go to the lumber camp before I task them to do anything else. I've played AoE 1, 2, and 3 and AoM and Titans and RoN. And I didn't know about this. I know it doesn't work for like gold and stuff though right? Or herdables/hunts? Because I thought I've lost resources doing it that way. Does it just work for wood? Can someone explain this mechanic?
Another reason a player may not set a gather point for new villagers is that it can waste more time than letting them sit idle. It seems backwards, but sending a vil to the walk to the wood line and then walk back is often longer than a few seconds they sit idle.

Heresy! Madness! Someone call a monk!
Monk: Wolololololol
I am guilty of the sending villager to random tile thing
Fatslob is the personification of the man who practiced one kick 10.000 times.
17:55 Hilarius!!! :D
That was brutal. Just bulldozered through his entire army
We like it cuz 10+ trebs shooting at the same time is so satisfying
31.54 Jim: Destroy your walls, Fatslob: come at me bro, come at all of us bro
Fatslop: It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.
Yo fuck yeah man, made my work day so much better, thank you!
fatslob the mad lad!
i LOVE people as say screw the meta, and comes up with their own tactics.
Kicking back in my Airplane, watching Fatslob build walls 😎
"Leap that wall if you are so great! Up and over!" - Wimp Lo
My friend introduced me to this channel through fatslob. Def is an mvp for the channel
The scorpion bait is priceless.
Isn't the resource drop off only from Wololokingdoms/HD/DE? If I recall, the resources do not drop off in 1.4/1.5 AOC.
This game was a Christmas gift!
I'm watching his videos. I'm actually guessing he is a grandpa who likes AoE2.
Mine loved the game, made me interested in it, passed away a few years ago, may he rest in peace.
Fatslob is my fav.
How do you do the 1x1 wall tile when building a long wall? They change after they are built and I’ve never been able to do that for mine
All I want for Christmas is Hoang vs. Fatslob.
Should have built a dock on that pond and had a couple of elite cannon galleons blasting the walls and trebs.
i think Fatslob wants to dedicate 1 tc to farmers, he most likely will have 1 tc for each recourse (maybe none for stone) and organises his eco that way.
i often have the problem of pulling to many off of wood and then not having enough wood income
I don't play, so I have to ask... Would it make sense to set up a lumber camp right next to where he walled (or some other relatively thin place close to his base) and chop your way through the trees for some kind of rush?... Just, like, be in his base before he's ready, because he thinks he has forever?
I'm a man of simple taste - I see Fatslob video, I watch it and like it.
7:20 talking about Fatslob's odd Gather point quirk, and during this, Fatslob has actually moved his gather point to wood, and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks
Your Fatslob content is by far your best content.
I think if you could get 100 Cavaliers and some arbalest you could possibly beat fatslob composition(also like 10 trebs)... I wouldn't bet on it tho
Fatslob is like the last Pokémon boss you have to beat.
Hey t90 theres no link to capture age in the description.
Holy shit, I remember when Dico first posted about the AoE2 capture project he was working on with someone. I had no idea it'd gotten so good/widely used
I'm a simple man: I see a fatslob video, I watch the fatslob video. These games never disappoint. Thanks for casting it T90.
