Meh, it was a cgi cluster fuck. Remember the awesome DBZ scene Dr. Strange and Thanos had in Infinity War? Don't matter, here's the most powerful sorcerer....holding back some water. Friendly reminder. Scarlet Witch is pretty much evenly matched with Captain Marvel on powerlevel terms, so here's her big scene...throwing rocks at thanos. In a 3 hour film, you'd think they'd have a proper final battle, but nope, it was a mere 10 minutes.
I kind of was disappointed. I wanted to see the Avengers take on Thanos. No. Instead they had to send armies after each other. That’s not what I had in mind when I thought the final showdown was approaching.
I loved both films. Infinity War was a 9.5 and Endgame is 9.5. The Russo Brothers have done a great job with directing their MCU movies...... Captain America:The Winter Soldier Captain America:Civil War Avengers: Infinity War Avengers: Endgame All of them have been really good.
Endgame is nowhere near as good as Infinity war, it's more like 8.0. So many problems. The first half was just a filler, and they did a horrendous job at showing the true effects Thanos snap would have. The entire world would have a huge apocalypse, humans would've gotten close to extinction, and all of that was ignore. Then somehow a rat showed up and saved antman, thus saving the universe. All thanks to a rat... Iron man invented time travel in 5 minutes. That's very rushed. Then the fight only focused on the main characters, all the others were just fillers, useless. And worst of all, Thanos was nerfed. His motives changed, going from wanting to save the universe to wanting to destroy it. He also looked terrible. So really I'd give it 7.5 or B-. I think the whole movie was very rushed. They should've waited a few more months and made it better.
Every act of this movie was very different (in a good way) Act 1 was very sombre, slow paced and focused on the aftermath of the snap. The Avengers had lost all hope. Act 2 was a much lighter tone. The Avengers gained hope and realised they had a chance to reverse everything Act 3 was indescribable.
Yes, the Russos are wonderful. However, you cannot discredit the screen writers. Stephen and Christopher have been on these films since Captain America 1. They are integral to this process, and they know what they're doing. They deserve just as much credit as the Russos/Kevin Feige/etc.
Krok Krok in the first Thor movie, Odin enchanted the hammer by saying “Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” So, by being worthy and holding the hammer, captain also possessed Thor’s powers
Infinity War and Endgame is basically like Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2. Obviously a continuation but they're two distincly different movies in tone, style and pacing.
@@ßøi-e8v the writing process kept transforming on set as well, chris hemsworth and taika waititi were heavily involved in mapping out thor's direction in the film

Yeah, I can agree with this. Infinity War is objectively a better made film with a more direct storyline but Endgame has a more satisfying ending and is a great conclusion to the Infinity Saga. You definitely do feel that there may be too much going on at the end and not everyone gets their time to shine like Infinity War but when they do, it is awesome. I am looking forward to the future of the MCU especially Guardians 3.
Loved the movie, but hated Captain Marvel, she's overpowered, made the rest of them almost irrelevant in the two minutes she was there, what garbage, what makes characters like Captain America and Iron Man so great is they aren't super powered beings that can destroy a space ship with one blow, they have to struggle, they have weaknesses.
I watched ENDGAME last night and IT DELIVERS. It has all the sweet moments we were hoping for. All the cameos we were suspecting and that super bittersweet ending we never knew we wanted!
I'm just gonna say already: That part where all of the heroes returned and assembled (which is the part where I cried) is THE most iconic moment in superhero movies history EVER. whether it's on Marvel or DC, THAT is the best one ever. PERIOD. It had to be said and it's been said

I kind of was disappointed. I wanted to see the Avengers take on Thanos. No. Instead they had to send armies after each other. That’s not what I had in mind when I thought the final showdown was approaching.
WartyWarthogHogger dude Scarlett Witch literally almost ripped Thanos apart until he called for the missile rain
I loved both films. Infinity War was a 9.5 and Endgame is 9.5.
The Russo Brothers have done a great job with directing their MCU movies......
Captain America:The Winter Soldier
Captain America:Civil War
Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Endgame
All of them have been really good.
"You can just go through the movie and nitpick everything but no, I'm not that person"
*Cinemasins Intensifies*
Underrated comment tbh😂😂😂
lol referring to Cinemasins as "nitpicking" is generous. Nitpickers at least have a point most of the time
Lol no too generous cinemasins are liars
Yes, fuck cinemasins
King Crimson *aggressively dings*
Every act of this movie was very different (in a good way)
Act 1 was very sombre, slow paced and focused on the aftermath of the snap. The Avengers had lost all hope.
Act 2 was a much lighter tone. The Avengers gained hope and realised they had a chance to reverse everything
Act 3 was indescribable.
Act 3 gives me OG secret war vibes
I totally agree

Christopher Markus and Stephen M.
Very true but they are very involved in the writing process
They are directly involved in the fine details of the writing process
Yes, the Russos are wonderful. However, you cannot discredit the screen writers. Stephen and Christopher have been on these films since Captain America 1. They are integral to this process, and they know what they're doing. They deserve just as much credit as the Russos/Kevin Feige/etc.
@@TheAce5511 Yeah, but they also wrote Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Infinity War.

Infinity War and Endgame is basically like Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2.
Obviously a continuation but they're two distincly different movies in tone, style and pacing.

Endgame was written by Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely, not the Russo brothers.
put some respect on marcus' and mcfeely's names! they weave magic dude.
Incredibly well written film. Imagine how difficult it must be writing a film like this!
Was actually written by all four of them. The Russo’s played a major role in decision making while Chris and Stephen translated it all into the script
@@ßøi-e8v the writing process kept transforming on set as well, chris hemsworth and taika waititi were heavily involved in mapping out thor's direction in the film

There is something about Chris Stuckmann's energy and delivery that makes me feel that he is the only humble, non-overly entitled, non-whiny reviewer that respects the film makers and has a sense of what artistic processes, perspectives and experiences are about, instead of talking as a demanding hungry consumer, as most social media users and personalities do.

Warning in case you were gonna sit through the 10 minutes of credits: there is no post-credit scene in this film.
