This is great, I had purchased four of these 16mm rails and had them sitting around for a while and last year got the bearings. Now to make the other parts. The problem is room to put this thing. I think I might have to limit it to about 48". I had completely forgotten about the stops. Thanks for posting.
Hello. You have a new channel name now? Instead of Mokong TV? How can i possibly get or buy the router support for this Makita router? I have the same linear guide rails and its been my plan 2 years ago to make a flattening jig. Initially use a plexiglass but yours is more sturdy and dont flex. Can you help me get one too? Thanks!

If you put a removable stud through the base plate you could follow templates. Would be nice for flattening arias but leaving parts high or doing multiple cove cuts with a core box bit etc...

The jig needs an arm/handle to move the router sled and hold the power button so you are not bending and extending your body.
Now add dust collection.

How thick is the metal plate?

How to make:
1: Buy 4 runners. 😊
2: Hit “print” on your CNC sheet metal cutter. 😅
3: Finish in your industrial hydraulic bender. 😂
But seriously, the metal plate isn’t hard to make with hand tools, and could even be made from thick plywood.
Do you have the cnc plans(file) used to cut the metal sheet?
Fancy tools used to create the sled make this difficult to replicate, but love the work. Is metal better than a see through base to monitor the work?
the guides are cheep from Amazon got mine for $35.00
How do you adjust the height if you have timber thats thicker to flatten???
Use two 4x4 timber below the two bottom rails

work I think you can return it.
