If you're using one of these for a costume, like at a convention or ren fair, if you wear the bottle on a belt the motion of just walking keeps the glitter moving, so your potion is always swirling.
Omg this is so cool !!! I didn’t know about the glitter for drinks or that you can use dry ice for drinks as well. Thanks for making sure our Halloween parties are spooktacular lol.
It's NOT. PLEASE DO NOT DRINK ANYTHING WITH DRY ICE IN IT!!! IT CAN KILL YOU!!! Watch the first episode of Drink Masters to see them even talking about it!!! They talk about it at about 23:30 in the episode!
Great video, awesome tips, it also looked like we were attending a potions' class!! 😍✨ Thanks a lot for sharing all these ideas with us! Happy Halloween! 🎃
Can you show a link for the cups you mentioned that can hold the dry ice without the kids drinking it? I’d love to make dry ice drinks for kids for Halloween but don’t want them to accidentally ingest and I’m not sure what to look up for those dry ice safe drinking glasses
Most Grocery Stores carry it. It is purchased by the pound and you’ll want to bring a cooler or cold bag to put it in. It disappears quickly so you want to purchase it the day of your party or when you want to use it.
Im glad you brought up the powder dying the liquid. Im making color shift bottles for a few people as presents and the mica powder from the wiggenweld potion video dyed the alcohol. Im finding the powders dye in varying degrees. Cyan tints it, purple dyes it bright rosy pink, Indian red doesnt dye it at all, etc. Do you do anything to possibly condition the power? Your wiggenweld turned out so nice, but mine is barely a color shift. Right now im using a bottle to mix powder in the alcohol, check how much it dyes, drain, and repeat to hopefully remove the coloring. My goal is to make little potions that appear empty, but when shook change to the persons favorite color. Ive been calling them thank you in a bottle or wake me up potions. I think they'd be fun little gifts if i can get the color under control.
See I haven’t had any issues with actual mica powder dyeing my liquids in the prop potions. 🤔 The edible micas definitely do. Now I would sometimes do the same thing your doing with the metallic acrylic paints to separate the mica from the paint coloring before mica powders were as readily available as they are today. All of the potions I’ve made all still look like they did when I filmed them for you guys. The only exception is potions with moss (mandrake draught and gillyweed), because the moss will slowly darken your potion. Your surprise bottles sound really fun! 💜
Depending on the surface treatment of the mica powder will determine if its going dye the solution. Many effect pigments are made for crafts and not have durability in mind. You may have better luck with industrial grade micas, look for a paint shop or epoxy grade. Those micas are chemical resistant and won't change the color of the solution.
Thanks so much do you happen to know what they are called I’m looking online. Thanks so ouch for all these wonderful potions. We are doing them for my daughters bday party
Are you talking about the glitter stops after 10 seconds? If so carbonated beverages and dry ice help it to move and swirl longer. Otherwise I recommend a straw so guests can “remix” the swirls up.
NEVER EVER put dry ice in your food and beverages. I’ve seen people get 3rd degree burns from dry ice. I am a lab tech and we use dry ice daily. We have to wear special gloves and eyewear to handle

I love It😍❤️ totally gonna do It!
But I can't take my eyes of this Iron Lab Stands! I want some!! Were did you found them?!
I got some of the stands from Michael’s Halloween collection. And a couple from Old time pottery store.
And that glitter stuff you put in is edible?
Yes, it is edible luster dust and brew glitter. They are 100% FDA Approved.
@@CookingandCraftChick Most impressive then.
Where did you get your flask holder
Michael’s craft store and they had them again this year
Thanks so much do you happen to know what they are called I’m looking online. Thanks so ouch for all these wonderful potions. We are doing them for my daughters bday party
@@amycipolla5070 I believe they called them flask on stand and beaker on stand.
Hello i do many try and it move only 10 sec and it stop. Can you tell me what wrong i do.

Where to buy the dry ice?
A lot of grocery stores carry it. You may just have to ask.
These are so cool!! 😍 🧪

Can i use sanding sugar for the brew glitter?
unfortunately sanding sugar will just dissolve and color the drink that color, without sparkles.

Please note, if youve added cider then the drink is already alcoholic! At least in the UK anyway!
@@adinigel our cider is non alcoholic 😊 unless it’s hard cider
@@CookingandCraftChick that would simply be apple juice over here then.
@@adinigel ahhh our apple juice is different than our cider. Interesting 😁
11:19 😂🤣
