- The Honda S2000 vs Subaru BRZ is basically a classic matchup at this point with how similar the cars are! This is by far my best track battle yet as the driver was really good! My lap timer wasn't working at the time but we were probably running around 1:44s here.

Its kinda sick seeing that nugget of a 500 Abarth on track, those lil 140 ponies that tirbo engine is pushing were almost keeping up with the BRZ. Great driving as usual🤙🏻
Depends which version the Abarth was since some variants come with 180ish HP as stock

@@TGT_86 the american version on those years should have 135hp from the 1.4 twinair but with a few mods It could easily do 190hp
I'm the one with the fiat in the video! It's all stock other than coilovers, and this was my 1st event with them 🤌

That track looks so fun! I have the full verus aero kit on my BRZ and it drives like it’s on rails, diffuser and splitter felt like they made a lot bigger difference than the wing in many corners

Awesome video. I think your wing might be pretty stalled, making it just add drag than downforce 10:45. I had a look at the Result Japan Legal GT Wing and it seems much less aggressive. Might be worth looking at to significantly improve your lap times.

If anything you the best driver than the guy in s2000 for sure. Your line and braking was 1 step ahead of him. Also you save him from his mistakes too. If that wasn’t a good driver I don’t know what else 😂

if you get a wing that is properly tested yes they're worth it!
Definitely helps keep the car stable on those fast chicanes, I don’t have a wing and with only mountain togue I notice it’s ever so slightly bouncy without a wing

Very close, the brz for sure has better handling characteristics but the power difference is as clear as day. Are you still running the original motor?
I'm very happy with the balance of the car! took a lot of tweaking to get it there. and yep 59k on original motor
so what is the deal with the Dragy? I got one and couldn't get it to work at the Glen?!
it was working the prior session! I closed the app and it was fine afterwards, just didn't have time while on track to figure it out.
I will say I had trouble with my other lap timer at Watkins Glen bc it wasn't able to get a signal out there lol

For 10k, I'd personally just get a built IAG block with a turbo kit instead of a kswap.
Great driving as always. Can't beat a fun back and forth with a similar car.
personally I just don't trust Subaru motors, even built ones. track guys tend to find a way to blow em up and they're not cheap to replace like a k series (once it's in anyways lol)
So, unsure on the front end of the s2k, but has some angle which will cause the front end to lose more grip. Tires are definitely a thing you have going and looks like track knowledge does too. He seemed lost a few times but kudos on him for sending it and MAYOR KUDOS for you for doing very well with someone in front of you and braking where he did, rather when he did. Although, will say that having him behind you did affect how you drove a lil bit but it was still pretty tame. As for suspension, his suspension is by far better than yours. Same thought as “reputable company” works here too. You need a 9 lives wing

My guess is that they are to hold the tanks for a fire suppression system that isn't fully installed yet.

no harnesses aren't required for track days assuming you have the stock seat and seatbelt

Is it supposed to sound like he is drifting? I thought best and fastest way was to never make the tires skid but I don't drive on track so not sure maybe someone will correct me.
nah skidding is normal because they're keeping it right at the edge before you lose traction

could be. he did look kinda lost at t1 and it all sort of looks the same your first few times here
Get a clutch pack LSD it's kind of pointless to tune the balance/behavior of the car without one.
I def do want one! not sure why it would be pointless to tune the car without one tho
@@dadhats Because the car has completely different characteristics afterward. You worked hard to have good balance and behavior then you swap the diff and everything is wrong, lap times are slower. Especially if you want to set the LSD aggressively, everything has to be reconsidered even the components themselves. Once the car is setup properly again you can enjoy the massive difference in performance/behavior.

Why is the s2000 missing practically every apex? Dudes drive lines are awful. He's losing all momentum. Is it intentional? If not, terrrrrible driver in the s2k imo.
