Im planning to go trekking in Sakhalin. Can you help me? I have a map, and are planning to spend 10-20 and want to see beautiful nature. But it is virtually impossible to find information. Do you know which places to go? The island is big ;)

So awesome! I am going there in august :). Will land in Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, and probably spend 10-20 days on the island. Where would you recommend to go? :)

I am sorry for late answer, but can you contact me via email (sirandy@seznam.cz)? Will send you detailed info about locations where I was and how to get there. :) Thanks

This kind of trekking isn't attractive to many people. The coasts are barren and everywhere it is heavily wooded. I see nothing of interest except for the fact that those huge crabs must be very delicious.
