For Venn diagrams with mostly 2 and some 3 sets? I'm aware there is some kind of method where you label the A, B and intersect with numbers I just can't remember how to do it properly.

When we subtract them the "a" does not disappear.
E.g.
5a - 3a = 2a
10a - 3a = 7a
Think of "a" as "1a" if it helps.
