I think sanitizer would be a product like “Bac out” or some sort of probiotic enzyme. I learned about products like this while working at a residential home. I just use Oxi-clean as a stain remover. It does seem to wash out pretty well. I always go on the “less is more” approach to washing clothes and using detergent.

I just Google'd both those and the local links are pretty much the products I use! So it seems so! Glad to know there are options out there. "Less is more" Really seems to be the way, with products and heat!
