@@mikeworkman1759 It would be 1. a surprise, and 2. due to improving their offense to "almost average" level. UM also has a brutal schedule, I believe.

The only way Michigan finishes unranked is if they get bad QB play. If they get better than expected QB play (above average) then they will be a playoff team. Book it!
If Warren is QB1 we could win another natty, I believe that.
Personally, I'd say FSU might be the most overrated team in the top 10. They lost basically all their production from last year. And we saw in their bowl game that their backups weren't particularly good. So they have a lot of rebuilding to do.

With the 12 team playoff this season SEC, BIG 10, BIG 12, ACC Champions get seeds 1,2,3,4 but my question is how many teams from each conference will qualify? SEC gets 4 or 3 teams, big 10 maybe 3, Big 12 maybe 2, ACC maybe 2?
Probably SEC 4. Big Ten 3-4. Big 12/ACC 2-3 depending on Notre Dame.

Texas and Notre Dame, just from life experience
We went through and showed how Texas and especially Notre Dame have not been overrated any more than anyone else. It’s a misnomer.
@MarkRogersVOCFB ND is 0-10 in major bowl games in their last 10 major bowl games. Also no wins in new years 6 bowls. How can you logically say they haven't been overrated?
