VINCENZO is a masterpiece but my favorite ever is DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN. This Drama has it all: visuals, a great story, great characters, great soundtrack. The story itself is touching since it is about real hero´s between us (Doctors, Soldiers...)

But not to go back on what I write if I had to compare an outside kdrama that is not by song joongki it would have to be Flower of Evil played by Lee Joon Gi
Decedents of the Sun is just as good as Vincenzo if not better. It will make you laugh and cry. Although it looks like an military movie it is the very best romantic movie I have ever seen.

Yes it’s kinda in there by having Eun-Seom always trying to get back to Tanya but they’ve spent more time apart then together but that’s not his only priority. This is more deep and besides focusing on one main character every single main character brings something to the table. Everybody’s story or trial is important and not boring lol. So ready for season two!!!

He's a truly amazing and versatile actor! Vincenzo is simply amazing! Brutal, funny and heartwrenching in equal measures I feel this shows the many sides of SJK's skills as an actor. It was the first thing I watched him in and I have to say I eagerly looked for his other projects. Watched Descendants after and found it to be a little mediocre, the lead female character was annoying as hell with her hot and cold routine which I found frustrating and made me wonder what the hell he saw in her! But I digress.....watched Arthdal Chronicles next and OMG!! When are we getting season 2?! I watched space sweepers and nice guy too, not had chance to see the others mentioned on here but I'll be looking out for them!

Penny pinchers is an underrated movie and could’ve got some international recognition nowadays “after the Korean wave” but nice gut is great too and should be included

I have seen 5/8 of this list. Thanks for sharing...I didn't know about The Battleship and Penny Pincher. I will surely watch it with Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Vincenzo and Descendants of the Sun tops the list. I fell in love with him in DOTS. I can watch it over and over.
My first intro to Song Joong Ki was the drama Arthdal Chronicles Season 1🥰🥰😍😍 in 2021. Fast forward to 2024 for season 2 🤬🤬🤬 garbage 15 minutes into it and won’t bother to watching it. Not the same vibe without him and Kim Ji Won. USA fan but looking forward to watching the seven listed here.
Descendants of the Sun is hands down one of the best. The story is just heart wrenching. It is a very serious and heavy as the topics are deep especially for those that were in the military or close relatives of those that were. I found my self in tears multiple times while watching.
so far my favourite is Descendants of the sun, although I love Vincenzo so much for great fighting scenes, humour and the plot. But DoTS has a special place in my heart. But sill waiting for season 2 of Arthdal Chronicles
Saw most, but Innocent Man is my favorite story. Also Werewolf Boy was truly a surprise how wonderful and deep it was with great acting by all the cast esp the young female lead Park Bo Young who outperforms most of Hollywood. Arthdal Chronicles very good, and all acting super! I hope for Season 2... But Descendants of the Sun is slow moving, and female lead is very mediocre in acting and looks, and she is quite boring in her other dramas as well, no comparison to Song Joong Ki. Vincenzo is great fun to watch, with Joong ki who is so handsome, and female lead is certainly better than DOTS.
Honestly, I thought so too @the 'acting' part. The female lead down played everything in DOTS, her acting wasn't very convincing. But in Vincenzo I found myself rewatching every scene the female lead was in @she was so good.
I can’t get over DOT it’s been over 4years and it still beats some recent dramas. Vicenco was Epic as well. I will suggest you guys see innocent man as well. He’s so good at what he does honestly

SJK is such a brilliant refined actor I just can't get enough of him...I started watching kdramas for Lee Min Ho and he was my fav in Korean entertainment industry untill I found Joongki...he is so soo gifted ❤️❤️ I have seen most of his works but I would definitely recommend DOTS, Arthdal Chronicles, Vincenzo, A werewolf boy, Innocent man.
I have only seen Space Sweepers and Vincenzo and I loved both of them. This year Vincenzo is my favorite drama so far for 2021 I don't know what can replace it as my number one this year

I have only seen Space Sweepers and Vincenzo and I loved both of them. This year Vincenzo is my favorite drama so far for 2021 I don't know what can replace it as my number one this year

In this order for me: DotS, Vincenzo, Innocent Man, Werewolf Boy, Battleship Island. Didn't care that much for a few of his, but adore him. Very fine actor.
