Let me know what you think about the sound of the EMEET STREAMCAM ONE microphone. Is it just right? Are the mids too scooped? What do you think? For me, I think its way better than the separate ULANZI J12 microphone I tested a few weeks ago (it was like going from cassette [Ulanzi] to CD [EMEET] level of detail), but I do like the mids/highs a little bit brighter.
I just ordered 5, but found out that the software can only do 3 cams at a time... So I am hoping the UVC feature can get me to use 5 camera's for my podcast studio.
It depends on how much you want to spend. ruclips.net/video/Z9SH5xIk7m8/видео.htmlsi=lchNytUZ29ot9p4W > this is cheapest decent quality pairing I've ever tested for 4k. With decent lighting and OBS to control the camera, it looks and sounds great for around $100 total. The Lenovo 300 1080p webcam would make the total around $40
How would you compare these to the Mevo Starts? Both in video quality, multicam app for streaming, and connection reliability? I got the Mevos, and am not happy with their connection...they are very unreliable in staying connected to wifi signals...also way more expensive...$1200 up here in Canada, while the Emeets are on sale right now for $650!
I've left mine connected for hours with no issues to be honest. I have a mesh network that's pretty reliable on wifi. No complaints. I liked the Windows app the most.
Have you been able to connect the Streamcam one to your computer with the EmeetLink software. They say it is the only way to adjust the camera from 50hz to 60hz anti flicker. The computers device manager sees the camera but i cannot get the link software to see it.
They need to be on the same network and subnet. My PC is connected via ethernet, but in my case I also need to enable wifi to see the camera. Technically, my home ethernet is also the same network as my wifi.
@@DeployJeremy I conencted them to the computer via USB per supports instructions...The Stream software for viewing the cameras worked fine but the link software will not recognize the camera attached to my computer :(
@@UbberMapper Do you know if the wifi is 2.4 or 5Ghz? Sometimes with IoT devices, I need to drop my wifi to only 2.4Ghz. Mine does both simultaneously. That might also be it. You do need to reconnect the camera (like it's a new camera) each time, but my PC always sees them. Are you sure the cameras are connected to wifi?
Can it record audio from the detachable microphone, while also picking up audio from the built in cameras? Also, is there a way to record directly to the MicroSD without using the livestream function?
Based on my testing it only records one microphone at a time. It will record directly onto micro SD without livestream, but you will need your phone or PC to adjust the image and start/stop the recording.
Think of the SD card as redundancy in case the wifi goes down or something, then you have backup footage to use. Or if the livestream downscales or drops frames, you can go back to the local SD recording in post production
@@DeployJeremy @DeployJeremy Oh, that's too bad about the microphone. I was looking into this for things like training recordings with two presenters and podcasting. Though I suppose pairing a wireless (or 3.5mm is allowed, it's just an additional piece to add to the plug and play.
I use an Elgato Cam link 4K and a dummy battery. On the ZV-E10 you do need to disable automatic thermal shutdown, but mine has been running for 2 years like that with no issues. Literally I haven't turned it off in 2 years.
I haven't tested this, but I believe you would need to do that with OBS or a similar tool. Using OBS, you can have multiple mics recording simultaneously.

Great Video! but price of the camera is around $200. Do you have any recco's for a less expensive set up with camera AND mic?

How well does the Screen Zooming feature work?
So no connectivity issues? I've actually heard that the Mevo alternative isn't its all cracked up to be because of poor connectivity
@@HereAfterBilliards connection is surprisingly good. I had low expectations tbh. It's solid for long periods of time
@@DeployJeremy Cheers.

Jeremy, for the Sony, what else do you need to use it as the main computer camera?

Can i use a second wireless mic with the emeet?
I haven't tested this, but I believe you would need to do that with OBS or a similar tool. Using OBS, you can have multiple mics recording simultaneously.
Can you attach it to a standard tri-pod without an adapter?
Yes, it has 1/4 20 threads on the bottom. I used standard tripods for both to film this entire video.
