I like to hear what Paul Davies actually says. Sometimes I like listening to Paul Davies on the Radio or through my HiFi sound system. I prefer to watch Larrisa Livier play the solo on Stairway to Heaven 😁 ruclips.net/video/dpSGd1YNSlg/видео.html
The problem for Paul Davies is that he is essentially a materialist. He thinks matter comes first. The real mystery of matter is thinking about it. He dances around the thoughts of the universe, but does not seriously address thoughts, consciousness, proceeding existence. It is very easy to say, “existence precedes essence”, but more provocative to say essence proceeds existence. Consciousness comes first is a more logical point of view. He and most other scientists miss the obvious: consciousness does not emerge from the physical realm; the physical realm emerges from consciousness.
There is no such thing as non-life, everything is alive, even the inanimate. It all depends on rate of vibration from the lowest to the highest. Humans have the highest rate.
Thats a shame, I thought this might be interesting but if he thinks all abduction experiences are drams he obviously hasn’t bothered to look into the subject seriously. People don’t have lucid dreams when they’re awake or driving their cars. Do more research and think logically if you’re an alleged scientist.
Yeah, the lucid dream hypothesis can explain some abduction encounters, but there are many cases that defy this explanation as, like you said, they involve encounters in broad daylight, when the person is not dreaming, and can have physical side effects on the subject and/or the environment. Davies is a top physicist, but clearly not well versed in this topic.
It' s always great to watch Paul Davies!

What a great chap. Pleasure to listen to 👻👏🏻
Once I realize that I'm dreaming, I immediately wake up.
Top man . Probably a genius . ? And modest .

I liked the insight into Paul’s brain, as after having physically coughed he used the words “ coughed out of the Big Bang” 😉👍
Nothing is said about hyperspace; a dimension behind our universe whose energies affect our dimension.
The only thing that is real is the soul which is a spark of the infinite.
sounds like he really should have been a philosopher not a scientist
What’s the difference
@@FrancisLukesh Science actually contains all sorts of philosophical assumptions. I would argue that philosophy is more fundamental than science.
