What a day! The renderings of the future home of the Flames, Scotia Place, were officially unveiled to the public at a groundbreaking ceremony on the building site.
It looks horrible. Disgusting “modern” architecture, and based on woke nonsense. Screw the primitive savages that WE CONQUERED hundreds of years ago. They do not represent Canada. Canada is BRITISH NORTH AMERICA.
yeah, it's an Iconic building, but with it literally falling apart and what's needed out of an arena/event center today has outgrown what it was designed for sadly.
The city made Milllllllions at this years stampede, When this building joins the 2027 stampede and beyond :D and the space the dome is using can also be used for more green space or something, maybe the kids area can be bigger?, Lol since the new BMO ate up some space itself.
And a horrible “modern” design too. Literally all they had to do was remake the Saddledome except bigger with 4,000 more seats and more room for vendors. Instead it has almost 1,000 seats FEWER and it’s a hideous woke-inspired monstrosity.

Couldn’t they have had some blue collar Calgary fan spike a pick ax into the ground and watch an asphalt chunk fly in slo-mo? Come on now!
