ohh yeah!!! the cycle of emotions you went through after that fight is the reason Grounded is one of my favorite game. that first wolf spider kill is just amazing especially with the larvae joining the fight 😂😂😂! as someone who has arachnophobia i personally congratulate you on such an achievement and wish you best of luck in facing the remaining four nastier spooders (blacky, broody, and the infe's)😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. now that you have the venom, you can scan the area around you to find wolf spiders around the map ( check it out during night time to see their route around your base 😂) they would be red dots in the map. would recommend not going to the upper tard until you finish all the labs in the lower yard as you (SPOILER) need an item which you can get from fighting the boss in the black ant lab to open a few outpost around the lower yard to unlock recipes one of which you can craft elemental upgrades. oak-pond-haze-black ant lab then picknick table - sand box would be my recommendation for you to enjoy the game as it was designed to be but you all up to you 😂. yes, you can get coal from the BBQ but you need an armor set for that which currenty don't have and you still needed to fight the boss in the black ant hence my recommendation.
I was so relieved when I saw that (cuss words) fall on its back Cheeky larvae joining in right? Think I will scan and then plan an attack where I can draw em to the red ant hill. Messed up my wrist, so might be a day or two, writing this message with only my left hand taking forever 😅
you can eventually build a pet house that lets you give it a name and make it stay at the base. Don't ignore the bug mounts, they have a use. The healbasa heals everything in it 's area even enemies, so be careful. The difference between rotten armor and normal armor is no set bonus for rotten gear. As for the best armor, ladybug armor is good for the whole game.

the thing is: the game wants you to either bug the enemies in some way, let them fight against each other like for example: full red ant armor, lure stinkbugs, wolf spiders or anything you like into the red ant hill, grab the loot. or you need to learn the attack patterns. blocking is better than just getting hit. you loose stamina and a bit of shield/weapon durability but perfect block not only does no damage, it does not cost any stamina. train with orb weavers, the small and the big ones. wolfspider is a step up, infected wolf spider another step and black widow is the last step. same with bugs and ants. learn the attack patterns with the early enemies or you will have to learn it the hard way later.

There are some roly-poly’s that you can get level three armor from near the black ant hill and also Jesus loves you

if you try the red ant hill tactic: don't attack. you don't want to hit your fellow red ants and turn them against you.

you can hold E on armor standa to instantly put all armor on stand and armor which was on stand will he equipped
