Hey. Perhaps people are on a travel budget and cant afford 2,3, and 4 thousand a week in a resort per person. Extorsion for tips and gifts???? I have been to this resort this past May and May 2023, Its not a fancy resort but the rooms are clean, the buffet has enough of a variety that you won't go hungry, the service is good and the beach is stunning. The people at this resort work hard and are very pleasant despite the shortages that they are facing these days. The tips are most welcome but no one ever expected tips.
@@nickstojanovic8868 I’ve been to this resort before, more than once. But after going to Mexico, I’ll never go back to Cuba again. Not everything in Mexico costs 3-4 thousand. If you look carefully, you can find deals for a thousand, sometimes even less. The service is much better, and the people are much nicer. In Cuba, I lived through the Soviet Union, and I know exactly what that’s like. I don’t want to step into that mess a second time.

Я тоже ездила туда несколько лет подряд и с каждым годом курорт деградировал. Сейчас езжу в Мексику и жалею о потерянном времени на кубе.

Smoking is allowed. I lke a good cigar myself. There was people smoking in the Lobby Bar last year.

Not great. It is only available in lobby bar. My iphone couldn't (or wouldn't) use it. My wife's android worked somewhat.

It's beautiful in photos and videos, but in life it's not like that. I've been there many times and regret the lost time.
why Cuba? There are many other places with better service, beautiful buildings, excellent food and NO EXTORTION FOR TIPS AND GIFTS.
