Thrilled to see you got The Monkees coming up. I'm a huge fan, and I do have Sandoval's Day By Day chronicle book though I never got around to a proper read of it, being such a massive tome. Also see you got Smoke Filled Dreams, which I opted not to get, but would love to see. Looking forward to those particular videos! Happy New Year
Great video as always. Nice to see some Elvis with the Beatles and other big 60’s groups. Impressive knowledge on all the releases Andrew! How about an Elvis Meets The Beatles video. With your knowledge and research it would make a great story from Elvis and the Colonel messaging them on the Ed Sullivan show, to the private meeting they had, going to the Madison concert and Paul’s Bill Black Bass he owns - I bet a lot more interesting links too. Regards, Adam
Love Duane Eddy !!! Cool to see he had some success across the pond. I'm not big on Elvis at all , but love his early band and general rougher sound for that rockabilly period on SUN.
That was fun Andrew! Fun seeing the Euro covers AND vinyl in such great condition! Wow! Kudos to the person who knew how to take care of their records! Glad you spotlighted this collection. Looking forward to more of whatever you got for us (U.S.) in the coming shaky year of 2025. Thanks again good sir. Cheers and the Happiest of New Years to you!
Yes- WOW- the British Invasion- I was 10 at the time- it was just fantastic. The Beatles really opened the gate but there were SO many other terrific groups. Nothing like it before or since!!!
Happy new year, Andrew! This year I'd love more content about The Kinks and The Rolling Stones. I'm particularly interested in your opinion on the 1967-1971 singles box set. Thanks!
You always get cool stuff Andrew on your channel like a museum ! Elvis looks neat , that carrying case looks perfect for storage always love your explanations on every album The Beatles looked great too! This was a beautiful Christmas gift for yourself enjoy all the great albums! You can't go wrong with Elvis and Beatles! Looks like 2025 will be a great year! Enjoyed this video take care Andrew!
Since the Beatles have been marketed so badly in the past two years, I feel like the public is both dissatisfied and starting to pull away. It's the right time for another Monkees revival.
"Tonights All Right For Love" was a totally different arrangement of the song, based more on Offenbach's "Tales From The Vienna Woods" and wasnt released till 1980. The US pressing simply printed the wrong title.
Happy New Year Andrew! Lovely video as usual and some great records there, most of which I’ve got. Just one comment on the sound of the Mono version of HELP! I can tell you it sounded great when I was snogging Penny Carr on the sofa and it was on the turntable!😝😜😝
I recently have emptied my wallet thanks to your amazing information Andrew. Thankfully my girlfriend and I are Beatles fanatics and she approves my Beatles purchases. I got the white DMM German 85 and am blown away, A1 B3 MMT, UK 1ST of Pepper's, Abbey Road, Help, With the, Help and Hard Days Night etc. I am so appreciative of your information and I am so happy I found your channel happy new year 🎉
Gerry and the Pacemakers debut album “How Do You Like It” was released in 1963, but it was never released in the US until 1964 when it was retitled as “Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying” featuring the title song which was a hit at the time. It was on the Laurie label which was known for Dion, Dion & The Belmonts, the Chiffons, the Royal Guardsman and others.
Great video as always So far the new year as started out wonderfully Hopefully we can get some more stones content and maybe some more John and Yoko content Cheers 🥂
Hi Andrew, Just wanted to let you know that here in the USA and Canada "Tonight Is So Right For Love" was always on our pressings. There was a copyright issue overseas so in the UK and elsewhere '"Tonight's All Right for Love" was substituted. "Tonight's All Right For Love" was finally released in the USA on the "Legendary Performer Volume 1" album in 1974.
Hi Andrew, what a way to start 2025 with an incredible unboxing video!!! I'd love to see some more unboxing videos, may be something on Forever Changes. Cheers 🍻
Great Video Andrew! Amazed at how well those albums have stood the test of time🎶👍 Just finished the Sandoval Monkees book so I look forward to that video!
Great viewing over a late Saturday breakfast! Those original Beatles LPs were in stunning condition. I've only ever bothered to pick up Pepper and the White Album in both mono and stereo original pressings (both of which are near mint) so there's a collecting project for my retirement if it ever comes. Shads, Elvis, Searchers and Hollies were lovely too. Happy New Year to you and I look forward to all your vids this year.
What a lovely collection. It really stands out when you see genuinely excellent condition copies of recorda that are usually very worn and tatty. Nice to know you're a Liverpool fan too. Hope you had a good Christmas and a belated Happy New Year to you.
Great seeing all those wonderful LPs. It was like browsing in a record shop that has incredible vintage albums. I've always enjoyed your videos and am looking forward to a great 2025. I'd love to see you do a program on The Who. My favorite group along with The Beatles. Both groups had an unalterable chemistry that depended entirely on each member. Take any one member away and the group structure would collapse. There coukd be no replacing any member. Have a Happy and Healthy New Year Andrew!
Looking forward to watching the pretty things video. Defecting grey/ Mr. Evasion ,£sd and walking through my dreams are some of my favourite singles and are easily up there with Syd Barrett Pink Floyd and the English Kaleidoscope.
Pretty amazing collection in a more amazing condition - although I believe that the pencil on the inner sleeves were added by the previous owner. Cheers!
Fantastic collection. Not only did the original owner have good taste, they kept the collection in nice condition. Indeed a rare find in that shape ! Always exciting to find a collection like that. In the rare instance that I do, I feel a need to keep it together, but alas we are only also temporary custodians of these treasures. Congrats.
Lovely Christmas gift Andrew. I'm sure that some of your viewers were drooling ! Interesting that the Searchers LP label has spots. It is the first of the records you puilled that had a paper-only inner sleeve and those spots are called "foxing" and are caused by mold and mildew from humidity getting into the paper. This proves your assertion that investing in poly sleeves is a must! BTW "gotta hold on me" was corrected to "got a hold on me" not "got to". Minor quibble (but it shows we are paying attention ! Happy New Year to you and all vinyl lovers !
I don't know if it would make a great episode about the 1979 film Birth of The Beatles? It's very well done and one of my faves since it came out. I believe it's a Dick Clark production. And featuring features the music of The Beatles cover band Rain. Just a thought 😊
Wonderful video. My mum has several of these albums in her collection and they became a big part of my childhood. Scary to think that was 60 years ago. Those were the days when music was exciting. Thanks for sharing Andrew. It was a joy to watch.
Interesting time capsule thanks for showing us! I love looking in old LP cases and once had a fun time going through my aunts 45 spindle dating to the 60s, like a treasure hunt!
I had one of those record carrier boxes. Mine was gold. I used it as a carry-on to transport my records when I returned to California from a short sojourn in the US Midwest. I had just the records, the covers were shipped to me later. I have the American versions of all of these albums except the Hollies, Elvis and Duane Eddy. Well loved, and often listened to back in the day, they are in nowhere near mint condition. Lucky find for you. Happy New Year, Andrew. I am looking forward to your video on Scott Walker. I am a longtime fan.
A fun unboxing, and a nice box for them to boot! 😁 Love that you are going to do a video on SF Sorrow - such an unusual and groundbreaking album that deserves more love.
Amazing video with a lot of nice records. Almost all of them in my shelf but some of them not in that condition! Thanks and I look forward to your new video in this channel Lennart Carlsson Gothenburg Sweden
Really nice collection you found. All in spectacular condition, considering it’s been 60 years. Maybe they committed them to tape and set the originals aside. Looking forward to the new year with the exciting previews you displayed at the end. Take care Andrew and Happy New Year.🎊🎆🎈
Beautiful! I spotted "Apache" at the top of the track list on that Shadows collection, which reminded me of what a life that song has had. From Wikipedia: "A 1973 version by the Incredible Bongo Band has been called 'hip-hop's national anthem'. Although this version was not a hit on release, its long percussion break has been sampled countless times on hip hop and dance tracks since the 1980s. In March 2005, Q magazine placed 'Apache' by the Shadows at number 96 on its list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Tracks."
I really enjoyed this episode. Although it didn't "pull back the curtain" and offer any fresh insights, as your Parlogram offerings are wont to do, instead this episode brought me back to to the time when I was discovering the wonderful world of pop music. It was lovely seeing the original albums of the British acts, and I remember first hearing all these artists on a RCA VR60 radio/phonograph which my mother bought as a single girl in 1941 (which I have restored). The best I have to offer of DC5, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and Billy J are American versions of their greatest hits. Yes, I'm a little jealous, moreso I am happy for you. But that LP case has me green with envy! It exudes a seriously kitchy cool personality. I'm glad to see you will be doing some more scrapbook episodes. Looking forward to those.
Wow, what a great collection that is. All still in great condition and in mono too. I'm really looking forward to the Monkees and Pretty Things videos, yet I would LOVE to see a video of the Bee Gees' 1960s output if possible.
I had the wonderful opportunity to play with Billy J Kramer at the Beatles Fest Chicago a few years back. Super cool opportunity for a then 19 year old Beatles fan!
I can at least tell you why "Tonight Is So Right For Love" replaced "Tonight's All Right For Love." Seems the latter was based on a tune by Offenbach, which was still under copyright in Europe at the time, so they changed some things and recorded to a tune by Strauss, which wasn't under copyright in Europe. Alas, Americans didn't get to hear the latter until 1974. (Cribbed from Wikipedia, but I'd seen it somewhere before.) Fun video, too. Reminded me that my teenage Beatles collection, assembled in the 1970s, for some reason had the British "Help!" album and not the American "Help!" album---it was a Christmas gift.
That’s quite a collection! I understand that the current condition of the country individual albums is rather rare, but is this a typical collection of a British teenager at the time of their release? As for the future videos, so glad you’re covering The Monkees. I used to watch their show on Saturdays in the early 70’s, just before rounding up the neighborhood kids for a game of backyard football. Great memories, but I love their music even more now.
You told us which football team you support just because of this great acquisition. Tx Lovely unboxing and no beaver involved nor a walrus. Very precise of yours hence thrilling. The delight is in the fineprints.
Happy New Year Andrew, lovely collection of fantastic condition records. I have always said the difference between a playable record and one like this is a zero at the end. An ok copy of help maybe 30 quid but that one there 300 maybe? more depending on how badly the buyer wants it. Looking forward to seeing what treasures you bring us this year. My requests are probably well known to you I would love a detailed breakdown of the penny lane/strawberry fields pic sleeve with the green and black logos and the number of sleeves printed. I have always believed that 250,000 were printed but that these were also used for other foreign pressings especially Scandinavia. I reckon at least a quarter maybe more were not issued in the UK but would love to know your thoughts on that. Also anything on the fan club apart from the records would be lovely Cheers Tim
Happy New Year, Tim. That Strawberry Fields cover is certainly a conundrum worthy of further investigation. I agree, a fan club video would be a fun. Stay tuned!
Nice time capsule there! Interesting to see how cover versions were often done by many different bands with songs like Some Other Guy, Slow Down, Mr Moonlight or Shot Of Rhythm & Blues all cropping up there and probably better known now in their Beatles versions.
In the US, Parlophone Beatles albums are worth a good amount. That Beatles For Sale album, in way worse condition than yours, would go for at least $80.
I can remember when record shops used to keep the records behind the counter, and just had empty sleeves on the shelves. Of course these days, they're all shrink wrapped with security tags inside
This reminded me of the first live concert I ever went to. The Dave Clark Five were the headliners and The Hollies were on the bill as well. I remember thinking that if the girls screamed like that for the DC5, what would it have been like for The Beatles?
What a treasure to have found! A great example of what taking care of things can accomplish. By the way, "You Really Gotta Hold On Me" was corrected to "You Really Got A Hold On Me", not "...Got To...". The label has the correct spelling on side 2 of the LP. Great video, enjoy your addition to your collection!
Great stack of UK vintage records you got there. Would love to see a video on Pink Floyd’s Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. Especially the UK mono. Happy New Year Andrew!
Looks like I was right about the searchers one! I had a big beat LP haul this Christmas: Listen by billy j Kramer, stay with the hollies, ferry cross the Mersey by gerry and the pacemakers, twist and shout by Brian Poole and the tremeloes, Freddie and the dreamers and at the cavern featuring various groups. I also got the big three at the cavern on EP and I’ll keep you satisfied by billy j Kramer on 45. I’d love to see more videos focusing on these bands plus the swinging blue jeans and the Dave Clark five!
Oof. One of my top favorite things. A collection of grails kept in an LP box, curated by a distinguished and cunning rare collector. Its like a homemade box set of joy
Like a Tardis...open the lid and jump back 60 years. Absolutely amazing.
Happy New Year
Me too. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into those books.
My friend I know it’s probably a simple google inquiry but I am wondering how you used a picture in your channel name
Take it from someone who has it, the Sandoval book is a gem.
Wow!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳phenomenal job
Thank you, Cleve!
Very excited for a video about the pretty things!
Coming soon!
Glad you enjoyed it Adam and thanks for the suggestion!
Wow! The condition is simply breathtaking :)
Those are absolutely stunning. I'm extremely envious.
Great video! It’d be great to see a video about The Animals, Badfinger, Billy J. Kramer, The Dave Clark Five, The Hollies and Peter & Gordon.
Thanks for this and all your videos! I always look forward to seeing them Sunday mornings. Happy New Year!
Glad you like them!
G I Blues/ Blue Hawaii/ Girls Girls Girls ... in my opinion, those are three of the best Elvis Presley soundtrack albums of the 1960s. Nice find!
Love Duane Eddy !!! Cool to see he had some success across the pond. I'm not big on Elvis at all , but love his early band and general rougher sound for that rockabilly period on SUN.
That was fun Andrew! Fun seeing the Euro covers AND vinyl in such great condition! Wow!

Cheers and the Happiest of New Years to you!
Glad you enjoyed it, Brian. Happy New Year to you too!
I cannot believe the condition of those album covers! Especially on HELP! I’ve never seen that cover so white & clean!
Yes- WOW- the British Invasion- I was 10 at the time- it was just fantastic. The Beatles really opened the gate but there were SO many other terrific groups. Nothing like it before or since!!!
That is such a beautiful collection, so many records in really great shape. Hours and hours of listening pleasure. I am very jealous.
Happy new year, Andrew! This year I'd love more content about The Kinks and The Rolling Stones. I'm particularly interested in your opinion on the 1967-1971 singles box set. Thanks!
Some great albums there, Andrew, and in fantastic condition - the original owner really looked after them well!
That was fun. It's nice to see those albums in that condition. The record box itself was well taken care of. Thanks for sharing.
Cant wait for your Monkees videos. I think they're disgustingly under looked.
Since the Beatles have been marketed so badly in the past two years, I feel like the public is both dissatisfied and starting to pull away. It's the right time for another Monkees revival.
A nice box of treasures there Andrew - I want the two Beatles albums and even more The Hollies. Cheers
Lucky you my friend, you have a piece of history in transition!😊
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for finally making this video available to non-members! Cannot wait to see the treasure trove that awaits!
"Tonights All Right For Love" was a totally different arrangement of the song, based more on Offenbach's "Tales From The Vienna Woods" and wasnt released till 1980.
The US pressing simply printed the wrong title.

Fascinating as always, Andrew. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it, Matt!
Well done Mate. That Hard Days Night is clean ! Thanks for sharing .
Hi Andrew, Just wanted to let you know that here in the USA and Canada "Tonight Is So Right For Love" was always on our pressings. Happy new year! More to come!
Hi Andrew, what a way to start 2025 with an incredible unboxing video!!! I'd love to see some more unboxing videos, may be something on Forever Changes. Cheers 🍻
Forever Changes is on my list. Stay tuned!
you always manage to create the magic story around the records in the best way!
Wonderful collection to find!
Wow, what a great collection!! Great video as usual!! Thanks, Andrew!! 👏👏

Glad you enjoyed it, David. Lots more to come in '25.
nice to see such a well preserved collection, hope mine stay like that after i've gone! 🙂
Happy New Year, Andrew. Very nice Christmas find. A great collection.
Thanks, you too!
I bought that Shadows record (mono) while I was in the UK last year. The sound quality is absolutely stunning!
WOW... classic albums in awesome shape. You hit the jackpot! Love the Monkees books. You should do a video of the UK Monkee albums.
Thank Gary. Who video coming soon.
Cheers!
What a fantastic collection. So beautiful.

Happy New Year to you and all vinyl lovers !
Hey Andrew, Very fun episode! I am absolutely looking forward to what you have for us in 2025!!! - Roger
Glad you enjoyed it, Kevin!
Interesting time capsule thanks for showing us! I love looking in old LP cases and once had a fun time going through my aunts 45 spindle dating to the 60s, like a treasure hunt!
With the Beatles was released on Nov 22, 1963. Thanks for sharing a very nice collection!
Love those Decca innersleeves! I haven't had a static electricity problem like the "so-called" modern audiophile innersleeves.
I had one of those record carrier boxes. Mine was gold. I used it as a carry-on to transport my records when I returned to California from a short sojourn in the US Midwest. Super nice condition records, Andrew. Wish my collection only had records looking as good as the ones you showed. Till next time. Nelio.

Andrew, as a Scott Walker collector, I am looking forward to that video. Good to see that you are spreading your wings, so to speak.
Cool collection Andrew!! Looking forward to your videos this year!!
Wow, what a great collection that is. All still in great condition and in mono too. I'm really looking forward to the Monkees and Pretty Things videos, yet I would LOVE to see a video of the Bee Gees' 1960s output if possible.
Those laminated covers were so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
What a great collection! The Dave Clark Five! I've always thought his background vocals sounded like daleks. Once you hear it, there's no going back.
Fascinating. I’m sure there’s an interesting story behind this collection.
I had the wonderful opportunity to play with Billy J Kramer at the Beatles Fest Chicago a few years back. Super cool opportunity for a then 19 year old Beatles fan!

A wonderful video and I love your plans for 2025.

Happy New Year, Tim. That Strawberry Fields cover is certainly a conundrum worthy of further investigation. I agree, a fan club video would be a fun. Stay tuned!
I'm very happy you're planning to turn your considerable expertise to The Monkees. Meanwhile, thanks for the unboxing. I'm a little envious.
A mix of Merseybeat music and Elvis. Oh goodie! ❤
Gerry Marsden & Billy J. Kramer are the best too. I consider them as the other Beatles.
Great collection, great story, thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice time capsule there! Interesting to see how cover versions were often done by many different bands with songs like Some Other Guy, Slow Down, Mr Moonlight or Shot Of Rhythm & Blues all cropping up there and probably better known now in their Beatles versions.
Awesome holiday you had, ty for sharing! My '25 channel wish would be for a vid covering the best sounding pressings of Fab 4's 70's top solo lps.
Amazing condition - surely left untouched for decades
Great video, very enjoyable! A time capsule.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
In the US, Parlophone Beatles albums are worth a good amount. That Beatles For Sale album, in way worse condition than yours, would go for at least $80.
Happy new year Andrew 😮 That is some. Collection great condition too by the look.
Hello Andrew, this is a great collection!!! Greetings from Germany, Thomas.
I can remember when record shops used to keep the records behind the counter, and just had empty sleeves on the shelves. Of course these days, they're all shrink wrapped with security tags inside
My Beatles - "with the Beatles" is matrix XEX 447-1N/XEX 448-1N Side A stamped RLL Side B stamped GGH (the H maybe an N?). Great box of vinyl dude.
I'm convinced that "Some Other Guy" is the British "Johnny B. Goode" in that every band in the '60s had it in their repertoire.
Awesome collection!! I’d love to see a video covering the history of the Beatles rock band video game someday!
Great stack of UK vintage records you got there. Would love to see a video on Pink Floyd’s Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. Especially the UK mono. Happy New Year Andrew!
Piper is on my list!
Fascinating! Thanks for that!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun video, but there is likely an obvious reason the Billy J. Kramer album was barely played. My copy is barely played too.
Oof. One of my top favorite things. A collection of grails kept in an LP box, curated by a distinguished and cunning rare collector. Its like a homemade box set of joy
