Did this little montage while journeying first time to Colonia in a T-6 transporter in Elite Dangerous.
Managed to move the camera around a bit more than the regular tools by using an Oculus Rift to move around in VR. Surprisingly fun! Inspired by the song by TheFatRat.

Hey thanks! It was a blast in figuring out new angles as I explored the galaxy on my way to Colonia. When I saw something interesting I just hit shadowplay on and went to capture! It was a surprise how you could get a nice handheld feel with the Oculus.
Yeah I totally know what you mean. At some point I basically only played the game to record the entire galaxy. I spent hours in almost every system I arrived in, recording everything I found from multiple angles. It was so much fun, although my editing skills aren’t good enough to make videos on this level

This deserves more views! Great work, excellent cinematography. You made an ED avatar actually look and feel human, which is hard to do when ED avatars have so few animations in the cockpit. Overall, amazing work!

@@eeka_droid theres another really similar vid with the same pilot and shes in a keelback so you may have seen that one before and your brain just played tricks on you, besides they look very similar apart from those rotating engines, i remember buying a keel back when i was new to mining but i was a noob, the the ship didnt work out too well for me so i sold it, i got into a cobra very early on in the game and i was in it for a loooooong time,,, after i got a python though, that thing could do everything, i just bought ships because i wanted to not because i needed them, i have 15 ships now but for me the cobra python anaconda and a small long range ship you can do landings with like a dbx or asp explorer are all you really need, my corvette clipper and courier wait in the hanger for their day but i havent gotten around to engineering them yet
@@darkestfugue Thanks, it's kind of you but i never saw this Keelback video, i confused the ships :D By the way, can you share a link for this video? I too have a fleet, with expensive ships and everything but i'm still having a lot of fun with this little T6 ^^
@@eeka_droid i am not sure i can find it again, i will take a look, my fleet is nearly complete now just finished my clipper, just my 2 eagles and my krait mk2 to go, ive gone with multi cannon builds on all my combat ships, i am in solp mode only as im not paying for online ps4 services, ive already paid enough for elite dangerous as it is

There should be plenty of material in space alone, if you know where to look. Proper sensory technology would be nice to have to find what you need out there, but astral projection doesn't include sensory technology exactly, you'd have to know what you're looking for.
