- Welp, for my first time playing Fear & Hunger how did I do?! This game is absolutely everything I was warned it was going to be, however I have BARELY scratched the surface of this interesting and dark horror game. I haven't played a turn based horror RPG (unless you count limbus) in a long time and it was awesome to delve back into this game area! If you enjoyed this video please give it a like and subscribe! I was recommended this game by a lot of limbus fans and I can see why! I am excited to finish a playthrough of this one

The fact that you've gotten the black orb spell scroll right at the beginning is hilarious. That's very much a late game spell
no WAY and it went to waste 😭😭 that sucksss haha good to know tho! I must have gotten a bit lucky that time 🤣 hopefully it appears again haha
That's the spell I found three copies of during my playthrough, very helpful against The Crow Mauler.

It's a really interesting game! I am not sure if I will do a part 2, I shall see, but I deffo want to finish playing it! It's super interesting so far and I think repeated plays are gonna be needed for the full story! Thanks for watching :)

I would love to see more of you playing this. Your commentary is fun, and you seem to really vibe with the game. Also, your playstyle will probably be good for this. The game rewards curiosity and experimentation, and being interested in the lore and reading the books and item descriptions can be an immense help.
seeing you die so quickly to the hounds got a giggle out of me, its a canon event for everyone going into the game blind lol
super fun watching this I'll def check out ur other f&h playthrough vids! I hope you end up playing termina at some point if you haven't already, it's just as amazing as the first game

It is ABSOLUTELY brutal! Oh noo I hope your okay :( the game seems really tough, I don't think I could handle multiple clears but I at least want to try to clear it once...if I ever find a save point 🤣😭

@@georgieegames through emulation, i have playable on my phone but im just so bad with horror just entering yhe dungeons fill me with dread and sense of lost even though ive watched many people play yhrough it already and knowing what to expect. so watching you plsy it just might lmao.

I would like to point out that the Pinecone Pig censor mod is awful. Sure, it's funny and does indeed remove graphic content but I feel like it removes way too much. For example, a statue with a single minor feature that needs to be consored gets completely removed instead, meaning you have no way to know what was supposed to be there in the first place.
I did not expect you to play this game but it's awesome hope you finish it and play the second one, I love the lore of this game and hopefully you make more videos on this

It is a LOT of fun! I have tried doing a few quick runs but nothing quite as successful as the one I did on here! I ain't giving up tho! I wanna finish the GAME! haha thanks for watching :)

You're pretty much right on the money by calling it "Dark Souls meets Berserk", lol
Plus as you've heard, this game _is_ hard, so don't get too discouraged from dying, just explore as much as you can and experiment, your "progress" is your knowledge of the game more than anything. The most I'll say is that you'll usually be punished for playing it "like an RPG", think of it more like a survival horror in RPGMaker clothing, lol.
Also love how into the lore you are! I know that's definitely one of the things that drew me to it. Looking forward to more if you make it! I honestly say don't feel bad about looking some stuff up if you need to, I certainly did lol

Once you learn all the tricks and routes you can full clear a run in under 30 minutes
as someone who has forced himself to finish both games and trying every ending and you're gonna get eaten alive i promise i sincerely hope you have an easy time

I think you’re the first person to say that you actually liked the coin flip mechanic 😂 that being said, you were adept at picking up the basics in your first run, and you’ll probably git gud if you invest a few more hours of grueling torture…

it is proper fascinating! I haven't had too many more chances to delve into the lore yet, but I have tried a few more runs and each time its so different and interesting what you can find! Such a cool game!

I keep encountering powerful enemies that just making me mald cope and seethe and so 2 hours of gameplay need to be paid in week of rest from the game.

I’d recommend trying each character out at least once. Their intros are from each of their perspectives so you’ll learn a bit more about the world and why they’re going to the dungeons.

also, a no spoiler tip: The game becomes REALLY easy the more you play it, its all about your knowledge about the dungeon, so ask everything and try giving everything an answer, you'll have a better experience if you dont assume things

So far from all the different playthroughs of this game ive seen, yours is the only one i like, mainly bc you actually try to understand the game mechanics and arent just brute forcing your way through the game, its a shame you are playing the censored version bc imo it only makes things confusing

Edit3: Oh god the death by infection! That's painful. (Idk if you already know, but you really need to cure infected body parts with green herbs, if you don't, after moving like 6 rooms, you'll die)
Edit4: I've gotten pretty far, won't say where I'm in case of spoilers, but saying I killed a god should be enough lol. Also my fav character is the Mercenary, he can lockpick doors which is pretty convenient (infinite Small Keys basically), also can Escape from trouble more easily which is always nice in this game where fighting is discouraged unless you know exactly what you're doing.
You should try the sequel of this game. Its more beginner friendly
